I can not express, in words, the sheer amount of hate that I have towards OP.
Please, if you are going to make a thread make it somewhat relevant and original.

Dec 21, 2010I'm not one to bash Notch, but this is too much.Posted in: Survival Mode
I can't say that I've been happy with an update since the summer (probably when chickens were introduced was the last time I've played an update without having to wait a few days for all the bugs to be fixed)
This is starting to get ridiculous, in all honesty. We waited while you went on holiday for a month(we all need time off), we waited while you set up the new site (the game became to popular, we understand), we waited while you set up a business (you need more and more specialized people, we know) but enough is enough.
You really owe your playerbase a proper apology. Don't set deadlines if you can't keep them. I'd much rather be surprised by an update one day that worked really well, then expecting a good update for a few weeks only to be extremely disappointed.
I know this is the same old song and dance, but I need to draw the line somewhere.

Whoa whoa whoa how is the kid a pirate? He's using someone else's account, with permission. It's the same as going to a friend's house and being like, "Hey, can I borrow your Assassin's Creed? I want to try it out before I decide whether to buy it or not."
OP: you are not a pirate, but to deter these idiots, you should either buy the game, or lie and say you did.
Also, I have no idea what you are talking about, messing up the character's head O_O
Another example would be if I went over to a friends house and played co op on halo 3 with him. I most certainly wouldn't be a pirate, and neither is this guy.
This is completely different from both of those examples.
Let's use the AC example. In this instance, it's like I took the AC disc from my friend, burnt a copy, and now I play on my console while my friend can play on his.
In your example, no one loses money. The player to paying customer ratio stays the same. It is not the case in the example of OP.

If you aren't a pirate, then what are you?
You are playing a game that you didn't pay for. You are a pirate.
Dec 19, 2010Posted in: Alpha - Survival Single PlayerQuote from ub3rsh00 »I had planned to, later today.
No you didn't. Seriously, pirates are annoying, but I can deal with them. People that pretend that they're better than the pirates that they actually are, are much much worse.
I am not going to help you.

So with my permission my sister uses my account to download MineCraft, makes her own account and plays it. Is this illegal or pirating or something? I don't really know the definition of that...
That's account sharing, which is frowned upon, but not nearly as bad as pirating in my eyes.
At least you bought the game, right?

i mean, he started to call out my real life name
It's quite easy (I'll speak from experience here) to gain information about someone as long as you have access to their computer for around a minute or can have them download a file and run it unknowingly.
Things such as paypal info, tax returns, logins and passes, pictures, etc. can be accessed within minutes if you know what you're doing.
That being said, a minecraft account is a very easy thing to steal if you really wanted to and for the person to know your IRL name is quite easy as well.
Dec 7, 2010You bumped your topic after 15 minutes?Posted in: Alpha - Survival Single Player
I guess I'll just be blunt then:
It's an incredibly stupid idea. All you did was MCedit a creeper spawner into a brick house with glass windows.
Not the most amazing thing ever.
