Character Biography (Should be at least 250 words): Kaen was born of a family of five, including him. He had, obviously, his mother and father who nortured him. There he had his brother and sister who he often quibbled and played with. He loved his family and they loved him back. They all lived happily in the nation of Ethium.
In the years to come, Kaen being at the age of 28, had an event that forever changed his life. Before the 'event' had happened, Kaen asipired to be a superb Swordsman. He trained each and every day to become one. He had hoped that one of the Elite Swordsmen of Ethium would notice him. Finally, one of them did.
Riya, the captain of Elite Swordsmen, had noticed him. He noticed how Kaen had worked hard, working himself to the bone. He noticed his vigor and robust swings. To say, Riya was rather impressed with Kaen. Kaen's family was proud that he got into what he had hoped for. Riya, himself, personally trained Kaen to become the best of his potential.
Kaen trained hard for the next seven years. At the age of 17, he thought he was quite muscular. How wrong was he. In the seven years, he turned from being lean and somewhat muscular, to a full-grown adult with much muscles. He was third in command of the Elite Swordsmen of Ethium. The squad respects him and he respects them. They all acknowledge his power and rank. They've seen him work eagerly to increase his rank in the elite team. As being third-in- command and a friend of Riya, lower members would ask for Kaen's help. He would gladly help them, hoping that they'd tried their hardest like he had tried.
One particular day, Riya had asked Kaen to take over his rank, saying that he's the best fit. Kaen was rather suprised because he had thought the position would be given to the second-in-command. However, when he tried to ask this Riya just simply shrugged off the question and just said something, "Don't trust anyone". Kaen was now just mystified. Why wouldn't he trust anyone? The team he trusted, but perhaps Riya knew something Kaen didn't. Although he wanted to ask why he said it, he knew better not to as he would probably get no answer, knowing Riya.
As new captain of the team, he was tested by the Council of Ethium to see whether he was qualified as the new captain. They tested his strength, diplomacy, knowledge and many others. They deemed him fit, but during the test, he noticed how some of the council members were whispering to each other. Kaen managed to get a few whispers, as one of them being, "Riya.. we should've known he would've done this..". Kaen was utterly stumped. Was Riya in trouble? Did he do something terrible to make the council members whisper about him? He needed to find out.
Kaen traveled to Riya's house, just near one of the gates in Ethium. Kaen saw the black cross. It was a terrible sign. What it meant? Well, it won't matter as Kaen traveled into the house, ignoring the sign. There, he saw Riya. Riya was almost shred to pieces. There were bits of him here and there, but there was a message on his wall. "Don't mess with us.". Kaen was wondering who "us" was and what Riya had done. However, he pushed aside these thoughts as one of his beloved friends had died. Kaen lamented on how he should've tried to ask Riya what was wrong. He knew that there was something bothering Riya, but thought he wouldn't get an answer. How Kaen wished he had asked him, possibly getting an answer or even being able to help him live. Kaen also wished that he had known some healing magic, like the clerics in Ethium. He just wished he was able to help Riya.
Unable to let go of his grief, he left his family and nation to travel. He wanted to run away from his grief and sadness of Ethium. However, the mysterious, but bloody death of his mentor had sparked something inside of Kaen. Kaen was almost curious of everything around him. He wanted to find out the wonders of this world, the Empire, and also find out the death of Riya. So, he travels to the Empire in hope of finding some sort of clue to Riya's death. Also, Kaen travels to see and find out this Empire's wonders. However, Kaen travels for another reason. Over the many, over twelve years, of traveling, Kaen had given up the way of the Blade. He wants to be able to heal other people, so others want have such a gruesome death like Riya. He hopes to find a cleric to help him with the way of the Healing.

I always help those that are in need. *As Kaen helps the man, he notices the Mark on his hand*. *The man realizes and says* Man: Yeah.. the mark is part of my careless mistakes.. I wouldn't be suprised if you left me. Kaen: Leave you? Like I said, I'll help anyone that needs it.
A Cherzian is being robbed by two armed men. Do you help him/her? Do you flee?
*Kaen sees the Cherzian being robbed and rushes to help the person.* Kaen: STOP! You darn thieves! *The robbers turn around to see Kaen charging after them. They take out their swords and knives to attack him.* *Kaen suddenly stops." Kaen: Look, I'm not here to fight unless I really need to. *The robbers start to advance upon Kaen.* Kaen: How about we trade? I'll give you some of my stuff if you give back what you have and give it back the person. Robber1: No... how about we take his and YOUR'S TOO. Robber2: Heh. Great idea. Let's do it! *Kaen reluctantly has to fight them and wins, however he is cut up quite severely.* Kaen: Hes' your stuff back, Mister. Cherzian: Thank you, stranger.
What are you character's weaknesses?
1. Heights. For some reason he's deathly afraid of it. 2. Always helping the needy, though it may cause him to get into some sort of suicide mission because of it. 3. Creepers and cacti. He can never tell which is which. May accidently go near a Creeper instead of a Cactus. 4. Random flashes of moments when Kaen remembers Riya and his body. May cause him to go into a mentally wrecked moment, causing him to be immobilized for a minute or so. 5. Terribly weak, cannot use a Blade since he made a vow during his years of travel to not use one.
