I suppose so, but most people would expect that kind of money to last longer.
What is a lot for you is very reasonable for me. Even if it lasted longer I would likely upgrade well before its life is over, faster drives are already around (and SATA 4 will be out eventually).
Hyper-threading is useful for 3D work so I would get the 2600k and overclock it a bit. That or you could wait for Ivy Bridge in a few months and overclock even more.

Also using long or complex words will probably make people like you less.

Its the same single, small fan as the reference HD 6xxx's had, and that worked surprisingly well.

Shits so lame.

Two mutes hanging out together? Sounds frustrating.

Definitely another Half-Life game, maybe another portal(would have to be a prequel as I see it).
Half-Life game would be about Gordon Freeman, as always. What happens next.

The hyperthreading alone account for around 5% increase (which can be some time on large renders).
That combined with the higher clock speeds and higher binning of the 2600K's allowing for higher OCs it makes quite a difference.

Do you find $400 to be a lot?
If it lasts me 3 years its well worth the money, I may upgrade before that anyway.

It is you who needs to do research.
Hyperthreading has been shown to speed up 3D rendering.
