Hi everyone, Original V6.0 release date is delayed. Why? read here.
Hi, everyone. sorry if im gone for like a months from last year. i was really busy with my school back there. but now i have a free time to check my thread and work with my WIP V6.0 Original Shaders that i will release soon.
I found a big bug on your hfps shaders for lite and standard (i haven't tested the others versions without the basic because of intel hd graphics) : the water is dark (only from exterior)I think maybe it's because of intel hd graphics 4600 but please, can you do your 4x time slower shaders in medium please ?
ps : the pom addon doesn't work (i've copied gbuffers_terrains.fsh and .vsh from the zip file and pasted it to Werrus"version"/shaders)
ps2 : 1rst screen : pom problem and 2nd screen : dark water
Thanks for doing this shaderpack !
sorry if my english is bad, i'm french
JPHLAG (JPHL in minecraft)
pc specs if you want it :
-intel core [email protected]
-8GB of ram (only 7.88 usable)
-windows 10 pro x64
-intel hd graphics 4600
I have a problem with new version of shaders. When I on ground all works perfect, but when I go to underground I see only black screen and item in my hand. If I do hole to the out all work fine, but if I walk away from hole some blocks again black screen. 4.6 BETA works fine.
Also some fences, gates and doors are moving as wheat or leafs.
In the HFPS version of Werrus Shaders, the first thing you want to do is to open the shader folder you want to edit. If it is a .zip file, extract it by right-clicking the .zip file, and pressing "extract all". The new extracted folder of the shader. This will by default extract to your desktop, so grab the new folder, and open it up, click "shaders'. Now find the folder "gbuffers_water.fsh". Make sure it is the fsh file and don't get it mixed up with the vsh files. Now, I recommend downloading Notepad++, but that is optional. I recommend you open it with wordpad if you do not have Notepad++ installed. Now, assuming you are using Werrus HFPS shaders v4.0, scroll down to line 48, where it says "vec4 watercloler". This is what you will use to change the color of the water.
Now, take a look at the numbers. It will say, "vec4 watercolor = vec4(0.0,0.3,0.5,0.7); //water color and opacity (r,g,b,opacity)". Now, the first number in the parentheses operates red, the second number operates green, and the third number operates blue. This is the RGB Setup if you are familiar with it. Now, the last number operates how much opacity you want your water to have. For example, 0.0f (or 0%) is completely clear, and 1.0 (or 100%) is fully opaque. Now, I like this at 0.7f, but feel free to experiment with it. Now, here are some screenshots of some custom water color values I have modified. If you have any questions, let me know. I know quite a bit of things about shader code, so you can just ask me if you need any more help. Here are the screenshots of my recommended water colors:
Hi Werrus :3
just want to tell you that original v5 don't have great performance.
I use GeForce 800M , intel i5 and play in 720p.
Your basic version gave me 24 fps, while my shader(lite, unreleased version) gave me 30 fps.
However, with 24 fps my shader(medium) can give better quality.
I hope you're going to optimise the shader (somehow, good luck if you do!)
k im back
tbh im impressed, nice job man.
Here are 2 screenshots
Original V5.0 is out today . i still can't edit my thread, but you can download it from here.
Quick question, im using the HFPS Standard and my water looks a bit murky: http://imgur.com/f84sshu Is it naturally supposed to be like this? Or is this some kind of error on my part. If it is naturally like this is there a way to get the water of the cinematic in the standard?
Oh, that was weird. can you tell me your specs?
splendid shaders you're offering, the best balance between beauty and performance on my PC, thanks so much!
Regarding version "Werrus HFPS Shaders V4.0 Ultra DOF N' MotionBlur" that you couldn't link here, could it have something to do with the single quote character (') present in the name? Maybe not that simple, I don't know
I'd just appreciate a few modifications with your shaders (based on my own tastes of course):
- water surface waving slower than it currently does. I prefer Chocapic's water effect in that aspect.
- a clearer view underwater. Especially when looking at the sky, it looks like there is a dark roof above me - while it's actually a bright sky
- a smaller sun (in priority) and moon. A sun that big doesn't look real and "blinds" my view too often.
These are just a few remarks regarding these shaders I really love otherwise.
Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks for the feedback . i will change them in the next update.
yes, go to gbuffers_terrain.vsh using notepad++, then find the '#define' part. to disable it, just put '//' on the first letter of the '#define'. (ex : #define WAVING_GRASS = enabled , //#define WAVING_GRASS = disabled)
Wow, thanks . it is Original Version BTW.
Thanks! . i will put this showcase on my thread. also tell me what HFPS version you use.
Hi werrus. love your shaders. I have a request if at all possible. I like all the effects of ultra but I want to remove shadows. Is that possible? So what i mean it I want to keep the dynamic handlight, the reflective water the clouds etc but whith no shadows coming from objects. Chocapic made me a no shadow version of his beta 5.11 but its a bit weird. the torches are super bright and white and the dynamic handlight is broken. Do you think you could make working version of your shaders but without the shadows?
which one? Original or HFPS?
