Then again, the OP was too.
We should probably try to spread this thread, seeing as it has a most complete image of how this would work. A good reason enough to keep it around for a little while longer.
Well, I generally see little reason to be polite to people who won't return the favor.
A failing of mine yes.
As for them, seems to me there is unspoken contest going on.
Who can be the biggest loudest pretentious bunghole.

Duke Nukem Forever has been out since 2011.
And it bombed.
As for the rest.
If Cuchaz wanted you to be his rude spokesperson he'd have designated you as such.

The other one is a suggestion thread, not a mod thread. THIS one is a mod thread, and this is making MUCH more progress.
Anyway, I noticed this is much more active then the suggestion thread.
For all intents and purposes the suggestion thread is all but dead imho.
Best to keep them seperate.
All the suggestion thread really did was blow smoke when the OPs were active.
This OP delivering the goods.

You expect the developers and modders to do all this work to make these things for you, yet you just let your friend pirate the game, and you don't even bother READING the page?
You just expect things to be given to you.
Go tell your friend to buy the game and learn some respect for people.
Learn some Netiquette. This stuff would not fly in real life, and it doesn't online either.
To quote a Forbes article I can't properly source atm:
"I really like the game but lack the money to buy it. I thought I might at least ask for a free account before piracy,” a fan tweeted at him.
Persson responded: ”Just pirate it. If you still like it when you can afford it in the future, buy it then. Also don’t forget to feel bad. ;)”

life without limits is chaos. If you want to be philosophical always extrapolate, no limits=no law, no law=no prisons, see where I am going with this?
As someone that has been playing with 600 mods, I haven't had much lag...
PM me a mod list please.
Because I am almost certain pulled that number out of your butt.
Nice attempt at showing off though.
You shot ridiculously high though.

I would love to mine kilometers deep into the ground. I don't even bother with surface structures. I feel like Mojang is holding out for a simple implementation to be thought of. Nit picking over certain issues of lighting when I still encounter giant holes in the world seems unfair. I couldn't be more on board with this if I sat on a lumber pile.
I think they're holding out due to simply laziness.
The lighting issue was simply the convenient excuse.
After all, no word from Mojang even though multiple alternate ideas have been offered.
And they've grown complacent.
After all, why put forth the effort if the game is still insanely popular and selling as is?
I think we'd better get used to being ignored.

My biggest problem so far with this mod has been a problem with brine output. I'm currently in a desert biome and have had 4 towers built for brine. Everything else in my chain is only done once downstream. I have tried AE, TE, and even mekanism transport pipes to get buckets of water to the controller and remove empties. I cannot find any way to keep the tower full of water or at least keep up with the rate of burn off. The bottleneck on brine production is practically negating the 5x ore bonus in the end. At present i keep lowering one tower in hopes of reaching some balance point with temperature and maintain a higher than 1 or 2 per tick brine output.
I found that an upgraded Extra Utilities liquid transport doodad keeps up with water demand on the brine maker.

The Chemical Oxidizer won't hook to a pipe for output.
Anyone else having this problem?

Quite unrealistic to expect someone to slog through 212 pages worth of stuff imho.

But I don't see this mod getting far considering how many different mods that add many different sorts of power.
You know IC2, BC, Thermal Expansion, Universal Electricity *which is based off a realistic electricity model as well, I think*.
Doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
But just saying.

Since nobody's reacting to it, I guess my idea of using the world seed to detect if there's naturally generated terrain above you on the previous page is yet another one of my stupid idea?
Don't worry, I won't bring it up again.
Also, what a marvelous 800th post for me.
Man, you're taking things ENTIRELY too personal.
Calm down and you'll enjoy it better.
