posted a message on GloomyCraft - Making Minecraft depressing, one block at a time.
I think it's a custom Foliage color. Also, the gloom is just making grass blocks more dull & the leaves a slightly less vibrant green.

posted a message on Mob Figurines! Can you collect them all?
This is a pretty cool idea. Maybe there could also be a chance to get a figurine as dungeon loot? I mean, you already get random junk like Redstone, Iron Ingots, Buckets, and Wheat, and the treasure that you get from dungeons exclusively is kind of...lackluster, since the treasure you can only get from dungeons only involve horses. Adding these, or specific figurines that can't be crafted, would certainly spice up dungeon loot a bit.

    Support.

I'd say, instead of adding another material that, in all honesty, doesn't fit as a tool material, either make the block do something special when added to a tool, or just act as a way to add another modifier, like a Nether Star or a Gold Block with a diamond.

If it were to do something special, then maybe make it so that, if the tool modified with Magical wood is in your inventory or in a block with an inventory (a chest, item frame, tool forge, etc), it will power up any enchantment table up to level 30. It's not overpowered, since you can just ransack a village to get all the books you'll need, or just make some books with blank patterns, paper, & string. Plus, Magic wood already powers up Enchantment Tables significantly, and it'd make sense for tools with that modifier to do the same.

1.7.2 mods, unless specifically stated on the original post, are not compatible with 1.7.10. You have to get the 1.7.10 version of Animal Bikes, and it should work with the game once it's placed into the mods folder.

No, there is no way to install everything she wants at once. You have to go to the individual forum posts & download them, then add them to the mods folder in the .minecraft folder in %appdata%

As for making 1.7 work, whatever that entails, all you need to do is to search Minecraft Forge, download the recommended version's installer, and make sure that profile is selected in the Minecraft Launcher. Like that, the game will work, so long as the mods don't have any incompatibilities.

    What?

If you're asking if there is a way to get modifications for the game that work for all versions (which are commonly abbreviated to mods) then there is no way. Also, this game is intended children. While it's not really intended for kids under nine, it's still perfectly fine for kids under that age to play it.

This game is not designed for software developers, although the creators support people developing mods to a point. People like LexManos, Azanor, & SpaceToad saw Minecraft as a gold mine of hidden potential, and went to work making mods for the game to make it more interesting, adding Automation, Magic, and an easy modding system/program.

As for installing forge, you just need to download the installer. However, there is not Forge available for 1.8 yet, at least a version that is stable enough for use. All mods, at least those using Forge, are still on 1.7.10.

posted a message on Try my Derpy Texture Pack
This violates the rules so much that I should just report this piece of crap post & be done with it. Although, I figure I might as well try to help you.

One, don't describe your pack as "derpy." While I'm completely sure that this is very accurate in describing the quality of your pack, it is still a derogatory term that means nothing good. Change it.

Two, you can't advertise anything in your post other than your pack. Remove the link to your Youtube Channel & the part where you attempt to get people to visit & subscribe.

Three, you have to have images for your pack. If you don't have any images for your pack, then it is nothing but an empty promise, which will more than likely disappoint the person who downloads it. Add some images.

Four, post your pack in the right section & use proper grammer. If you want your pack to look professional in the slightest, then don't use text-talk like "LOL" or "U." Don't be a lazy jerk, & actually type the damn word out! As for posting in the right section, WIP packs go into the WIP section. How you missed that, I do not know, but attempt to get it moved there nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure that Thaumium isn't smeltable in a Smeltery. It was like that in 1.7.1, so I'd assume it's still that way.

posted a message on Option to change the menu block
Changing the texture takes a very small amount of time when you're just copying & pasting the texture of another block. That takes 1 minute to do, unless you're incredibly unskilled at copying & pasting. In that case, it should take a couple of minutes, which is nowhere near enough to justify a new GUI just to edit the background of the menu screens.

    No.

Resource Packs can already change this, and it's pointless to add a feature for something you can already do. No Support.

No, I mean that it worked fine. I installed them simultaneously, and I think that Underground Biomes does something with world gen that is replaces almost every block of natural stone with it's own stone varieties.

I meant allowing Underground Biomes stone to generate, but I actually loaded up a RWG world with Underground Biomes installed & the stone generated as normal.

It did not give any signs of compatibility between the two mods being present on either of the OP post, but I figure I may as well ask just to make sure.

Is there any support for Underground Biomes in this mod or Underground Biomes? If there is not, then I'd like to suggest Underground Biomes support.

If you're family can't afford food & is about to lose their house, then how do they have a computer, or internet?

That argument never holds up, no matter what the implications are. Poor, and Computer do not go together in the same sentence.
