The XBox version just isn't going to be as powerful or expansive as the PC version. Or as another parallel, even if it were the same game, like the Elder Scrolls, you'll be missing out on the whole modding community.

Well I still had a blast with Oblivion on the Xbox, it certainly doesn't mean the game isn't enjoyable. I have since upgraded my PC and am now happily playing Oblivion.

Thank you very much. Funnily enough, I remember looking at the FAQ and reading that exact question and answer, I guess I forgot it. :smile.gif:

My next village construction is a Farm, and it has the required materials, but it says not enough space. Is there any way to get around this, since I look on the map and I see quite a bit of space. Alternatively, is there a way I can 'skip' the Farm and have them go to the next constructions/upgrades?

Much, much, much, much better than any other live action Minecraft video. As others have said, the animation/action wasn't cheesy at all, it was perfect.

I also love it when he respawns, and he is just like, "Well. ****." :tongue.gif:

Maybe the NPC villagers are a weird "squidward-like" race.

Actually I think they look like this:

For all we know, there could be other modles of npc's, and they only used one model for testing reasons.

Wow, you just gave me an idea.

What if there were multiple races of NPCs, and these would be a caveman-esque race, who had very primitive tools and lived in caves? Maybe they actually are a hunting-gathering civilization that would roam (this would work well with the permanent mobs).

Of course I don't expect any of this, but it would be awesome.

Don't like it at all. I'd rather wait a few months for a smoother, less buggy update.

You do realize that these pre-releases are there to provide a smoother, less buggy, ACTUAL update later on?

It would be, though you'll notice (if you read the thread, instead of doing a tl;dr) I made a call to action on page two as an addition to my original post.

Sorry, if I didn't see one post in a thread that, judging from the first page, would just be comments like these:

A beta, as in you report bugs and other problems (even opinions, seeing as this is a forum)?

People are just doing what they should be doing, albeit with a whinier tone and a distinct lack of spelling and grammar.

I would like to state that these 'Stop complaining' threads are even more annoying than the so called 'complaining' threads.

So, in my world I created in 1.8 I press 'v' and it says that it can't find a village in 2km.

Is this only reading the chunks I have visited or is there really no villages within 2000 blocks of my house?

I know if I were Notch, I would have at least thrown in the ability to enable/disable entire sets of features. Maybe I'm too spoiled by Dwarf Fortress where I can change so many different parameters rather than Minecraft where either you have to be capable of modding or just get access to only the seed.

Yes it is a beta. But Dwarf Fortress is an alpha and will remain that way for a long time to come.

If you add something to the game that is so bad to the point where you have to have a toggle for it, then it shouldn't be in there. My point is, you can't just have a toggle for everything. Could you imagine, when you start a Minecraft world, you saw a screen like this (except with Minecraft options).

Yes I agree. But don't you think Minecraft should
n't be an RPG? Its so... Sandboxy.

Minecraft is not an RPG just because there is XP. That is like saying Harry Potter is like Twilight because there are vampires in both.

And i like that everything in Minecraft is unrealistic.

Trust me, Minecraft has plenty of unrealism to go around. And if you are implying the Hunger system is realistic, or is meant to be a step towards realism, it isn't.

And BTW i don't like Hunger. Such a slow regen rate. When playing Super Hostile Maps i keep getting owned by those **** huge Dungeons because of the regen. Either Notch changes it so that the regen rate is 1 heart per second or completely removes the Hunger bar

So you are having trouble with a 3rd party map that is meant to be a challenge? Someone get Notch on the phone, Minecraft is now ruined.

Yes I can. Generally, most people that play Minecraft are from Mars. See, I made a generalization. It doesn't mean I'm right, it's means that, in my opinion, most people that play Minecraft are from Mars. Last I checked, we are all entitled to our public opinion on a discussion board.

"Teenagers will never be happy with what they have" is not an opinion.

I'm implying that people significantly preferred MW2 over Black Ops to the point where MW3 looks like an exact copy of MW2. Speaks volumes, that does.

That is your opinion, MW3 looks way different than MW2. And if it ain't broke don't fix it. And this isn't fanboyism or anything, I am probably not going to get it (too many other, greater games).

    Quote from Phar

Considering I'm a teenager, I can relate to my statement.

Perhaps, but you can't make sweeping generalizations.
