    Wouldn't matter, people I am certain EULA read all mod info before downloading even when DLing individually. I have a low opinion of people? whatever makes you ask?

    Bug for you I believe causes a whitescreen crash only since updating, I have a TBM nearby so I'm guessing that is where the error is happening,

    It's not a stupid question, yes it does, pretty much all 1.4.6 mods work happily with 1.4.7 so most haven't bothered changing their header versions :)

    Also yeah EBXL makes Minecraft much prettier imo.

    Nope it's just regular Minecraft derpyness some mod makers make allowance for the hardcoded 256 ID's that minecraft reserves for itself some don't so their ID's are shifted by 256.

    You see that fourth line is where you are different to the person I was responding to there was no possibility that anything other than their view was correct and that everything other than microblocks\wiring is a waste of time\removes enjoyment from the game.
    Truthfully I like the ability to setup a system of machines to "play the game for me" since I was playing the game while I was setting it up and then once that facet of the game is set to auto play I can wander off and work on game-breaking something else to me that is fun. Heh in my current world I do literally have "a volcano in my backyard" and my house is built of the remains of the "messy" bits.

    Thanks for the response, heh should have known you'd be on top of it , ah well I intend to use this mod for as long as it's around and I'm around so I'll cheerfully wait until the MC universe rearranges itself to suit me :D

    Well start a new world without RP2 then you clearly dislike Volcanos (stated by Eloraam to not be removable ever) you dislike the machines but you like the microblocks and wiring, so how about you are far less negative and stop basically saying "only the bits *I* like of any mod have any value, all the rest should be removed", as for not reading your post sorry but as you said it is a discussion forum and while I disagree with your point of view and will point out where I do. I still want to read it whereas my statement is more about your desire to not have to use something you find distasteful which is not a requirement for your enjoyment of the game.

    Redpower is one of those mods that I am very conflicted about. Much like Thermal Expansion.     I mean, why would I bother using all of this nikolite other than because I have TONS of it when I dont even need blutricity to make super-effecient sorting systems using only filters?

    Thats not even touching on the gems which are completely OP in the early game and makes every other advanced tool later on also worthless because by then you will have more gems than you could ever use. Ive never made a diamond shovel but ruby ones are a dime a dozen...

    Might as well just make magic boxes that supply endless power and send items to chests anywhere in the world so we can hurry up and run out of stuff to do already.

    Ok we get it you don't like TE\RP2 so how about you just say nothing and don't use them? All I've read in both threads is "these 2 mods remove all my fun, they break my toy" well don't install them and even if you are on a server where you cannot avoid having them installed don't use them. Have you seriously looked into the things you can build with RP2, it is one of the least magic block mods I've found, if you consider RP2 to be a magic block mod perhaps mods are not for you. Unless maybe hmmm go try TerraFirmaCraft you might enjoy that.
    BTW TE's Worldgen is designed to be in exclusion of every other worldgen it shares, youa re meant to use the TE version for everything it can gen and you should since it is atm the only adjustable worldgen.

    No, no ore dict version for hardened glass, so an induction smelter\liquid trans\magma crucible is required at the absolute minimum though you may need a pulveriser as well not sure if it has been fixed or if ti was intentional but for a while there you had to use "pulverised obsidian" to make hardened glass "obsidian dust" didn't cut it haven't tried ob dust in a while though.

    Kill a creeper or 6, kill some ghasts, build a mob spawner, other mods: kill some firebats, trans some in the crucible, breed Austere bees, mine at ground level in a desert (RC saltpeter), kill a lot of creepers\ghasts\firebats and make a soul shards spawner there are options but they do require some work.

    That's just it you can have the heavily WIP EE3, ala the minium stone mod or nothing since EE2 is not being updated and will not ever be updated. Personally I use the Minium Stone often enough and it has functionality that is not available in any other mod that even as the only item in the mod it is well worth having and more is on it's way.

    Afaik on Macs Minecraft itself won't run under Java 7 it requires Java 6. I could be wrong there but I am fairly certain I read that somewhere.

    The Blaze Rod exploit is as old as EE and will most likely be fixed once the Dyn EMC system comes in but the change to pulverising crystal sulphur into dust sulphur is listed in the changelog and King Lemming is not in the habit of changing things just because he wants to annoy people, there must have been a valid reason for the change.
