    As a second note i saw people were losing research due to a bug. A comprehensive fix might be to tie research to both the player and the Thaumonomicon. (when you create a Thaumonomicon it automatically has everything you know in it and whenever you look at a Thaumonomicon you learn everything that is in it) This would mean that research would be saved in 2 places and you could recover your progress if your Thaumonomicon is destroyed but also be able to recover your research if your character id data is reset or you switch between on and offline modes. Not sure how this would affect balance on servers with people sharing research but that might be something to fix at a later date if you think its necessary.


    Truthfully I don't see a problem with your research being saved in the Thaumonomicon, just don't lose the book, ever, treat it as more precious than your diamonds. For some reason I'm already doing that unless I'm doing some TC related things it's sitting nice and safe in a chest, an enderchest when I can be bothered making one (or depending when pre2 of EE is released maybe an alch bag, if they return of course, or possibly if Azanor is planning on bringing back void storage in some form that)

    There was a point raised before that it seems wrong to have a book storing the Thaumaturgists knowledge but sometimes gameplay trumps flavor.

    Oh yeah I also had a straw golem disappear but I think that one may have had something to do with the "the flux has affected the weather" and the titanic crack of thunder I heard shortly before noticing him missing lol

    Found a minor bug, I had a wooden golem attached to a chest that was on a single wide walkway of Light Xychorium blocks it kept disappearing, I watched for a while and it was slipping through the edge of the block while idling waiting for work, taking damage in the process and eventually becoming an ex-golem, I replaced the blocks with cobblestone and it didn't happen any more. I did ask Azanor in his thread he suggested I report it here.

    There are 5 plus the initial one though it is just 1.4.1 and 1.4.3 were too bug ridden to be released and maybe they are counting 1.4.6 which we know is coming soon tah dah 7 lol

    Found a minor bug, my wooden golem kept disappearing I discovered it was being killed by slipping through the edge of some Xycraft blocks I was using as a walkway so single row with water either side, it was attached to a chest and seemed to slip through the edge only while idling waiting for work, I replaced them with cobblestone and no more mysterious disappearances. Not sure if that is one for you or Soaryn.

    It was stated a while ago that a multi-block larger storage was coming at some stage when people were asking about balancing across energy cells.

    I suspect that smaller nodes are much easier to overload, I settled in an EBXL wasteland and had a 60ish node to play with I had wisps and quite a few of the other effects of Dangerous levels of flux in very short order with not that much spillage.

    Well according to the DW20 vid I saw the leaves are quite sickleable, I suspect the "no Treecapacitator" is a deliberate design choice.

    In terms of IC2 compatibility-can "dusts" from the macerator be used in recipes for Thermal Expansion or are they mutually exclusive?


    Afaik they can be used as long as they are registered with the ore dictionary (I was making hardened glass with lead dust also making electrum ingots with pulverised silver and gold dust, also given that the same people make the Omnitools mod, cross mod compatibility of resources is something they seem to care about :D
