    You have mages.
    Somewhere that is and the sound plays when they are fighting some mobs, I suspect. Since sound in MC travels quite well they could be in a cave up to a 16 block radius from you. You are only hearing it since the update as many of the sounds were broken in the previous version.

    I'm fairly certain that recipe was removed due to a possible exploit, so I would be guessing that it is not coming back.

    I'm fairly certain that error is due to item ID conflicts between Factorization and RP2 and possibly some internal RP2 conflicts, it is not a normal crash but I got rid of that one and others by editing the RP2 config. Use Notepad++ or another editor of that type the RP2 config is not easily edited with the standard notepad.

    Are you looking in the right place for RC sulphur? It only spawns near lava in extreme hills biomes.

    Right clicking with a bucket of lava\water in your hand will put it into the extruder.

    It doesn't recharge any tool that requires a Lappack (so any of the Gravitation Suite tools or the Mining Laser) this was explained a few pages ago by MachineMuse when I asked about it, that basically to get any tool to recharge from the Armors stored energy a tier has to be set and the Powersuit is set to recharge Batpack requiring tools any higher tier cannot be recharged. There is also some oddity in the code which does not allow multiple tiers of tools to be recharged from the same item so currently from the explanation I was given it is not possible. Though as a side note is it possible from a coding perspective to add a Lappack tier module that just recharges tools and doesn't actually function as a store for the armor itself?

    If you make an accusation like that please decompile both lots of code (since it is possible) and show the same code in both pieces of software clearly, if you cannot why are you throwing baseless accusations of a fairly serious nature?

    I also want another transmutation... for redstone. I have nearly a barrel of unused nikolite and a real shortage of redstone, Conversion is definitely in order.

    That is the thing the special functions that other mods put on armor (food\poison removal\underwater breathing) were in TC2 on the charms which haven't made a comeback yet, I hope they do.

I wasn't earlier saying it would make the mod awesome but I just found it very limited where the amount of other stuff is so very expanded.     As for the Goggles and the Modular Armor, it doesn't really mean anything to us now does it? This is TC3 not Modular Armor. I'm talking about TC3 having a helmet that has a Goggle built in not using another mod. Just because another mod has it doesn't mean the original mod can't have it too.

    Heck thing of how Ender Chests went. Someone made it and it was a great hit so Mojang themselves pulled it into MC itself as a core item. Doesn't mean the Ender Storage mod can't still exist and flourish?

    Especially considering that Mojang nerfed the everliving crap out of the Enderchests when they made their version and Enderstorage is still preferable.....
    Honestly I don't know, I vaguely recall Azanor stating back in the TC2 days when TC3 was an idea under the name of Arcanacraft I think it was, that he didn't want the goggles to be able to be incorporated into any of the helmets so you had to make the choice of functionality or protection, whether that is still the case or not guess we will have to wait and see :)
    Whatever is coming I have no doubt it will be fantastic, though I also really can't wait for a return of Void Chests, hopefully, I loved those things. The Travelling Trunk is another I'd love to see make a return, fair enough it was useless rather quickly but damn it made a nice housepet, especially the angry version, it was hilarious to watch the chest chasing a zombie\skellie around your yard :D

    Considering that 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 are functionally the same for almost every mod any version should work. Also as far as I am aware this was initially released after 1.4.7 rolled in so there isn't a 1.4.6 specific version.

    Yes but that requires you have Modular Powersuit Mod. It's not really a good idea to simply assume that a player that uses one mod would have the other. Or even use it if they are playing a mod pack that has it.

    I was assuming nothing I was merely mentioning that there is a mod already available that has the ability to have an armored Helmet that can imitate most of the functionality of the Goggles, but if you do not have MPS, go get it, it is very very good :P
    As for modpacks I don't really care too much for any of the ones that are available I much prefer to roll my own, though one of the more widely used modpacks does indeed have MPS as of the latest update, the Direwolf20 pack on the FTB launcher, with that sort of exposure (like him or dislike him, like FTB or dislike FTB, that is a wide audience) I suspect that MPS will (and should) become a common addition to many modpacks.
    Though I would like to see some further armor types in TC3 itself but going by TC2 it will be base armors that are easily enchantable not anything fancy, unless of course Azanor has some plans in this direction which if he does I cannot wait to see them :)

    I have a perfect reason to wear the goggles regularly. To look like a boss.

    I kid. But it would be nice if there was a specific equipment slot for the goggles so we could wear them with a helm. Or perhaps a helm that has the goggles in them?

    Modular Powersuit mod has the ability to add the Goggles of Revealing as a module to the helmet, approved by Azanor afaik as well.

    Sorry if I came across a bit strong there but I do wonder why I see it in multiple places people asking for additions that restrict teh field of view, I honestly don't understand it. I mean I spent over $1000 in 1999 to increase my possible field of view by about 4 inches diagonally why in hell do people ask to have something added to restrict it???????

    Graphics to show the rims of the Goggles, maybe a lil meter in the GUI that's like built into the whole graphic. Like you'll see a bit of the leather going over your face and the lil meter attached?

    That would annoy the crap out of me as any in game overlay like that is not like the glasses I wear IRL which eventually become "not noticeable" to me after wearing them for a while.
