I still wonder if OP is a troll or a young kid. I mean just look at his profile picture.

Skylinerw posted a message on Track scoreboard stats onto the item itselfNot exactly as suggested, but a variant of this should be possible in the unknown future. Rather than the item storing how much it's been used itself, it would end up displaying the holder's own statistics. The "Lore" tag on items currently doesn't support the JSON text component, but it eventually will (no word on when, just that all display strings would get support as a replacement to the section symbol).Posted in: Suggestions
We can already display score values in that which supports it (/tellraw, /title, signs, books). But the current issue is realtime updating; the value is static upon creation and would require it to be completely replaced before being able to see a new value. Without a hugely complex system to correctly replace the item, it would be unchangeable by the player.
Hopefully that particular issue is refined before granting JSON support to item display data. As a quick example of what it should look like (given that no significant changes occur between now and whenever this is implemented), using the current text component:
/give @p minecraft:diamond_pickaxe 1 0 {display:{Lore:["[{text:'Diamond Mined: ',color:light_purple},{score:{name:'*',objective:'OBJECTIVE'}}]"]}}
Just something to look out for when it gets JSON support, though it might not be exactly what you're looking for. -

Nickstarwars1 posted a message on Track scoreboard stats onto the item itselfI actually really like this idea, but not for survival. Maybe on Creative or with utilization from command blocks so that it could be put in minigames and servers, but I like the idea. Some mods incorporate a form of this (usually mods that affect gameplay quality and not new mobs or items), though most of those mods only include how many more uses the tool has. I like the idea of a customizable statistic tool, though. They should implement this into Minecraft.Posted in: Suggestions -

NightWolf9mc posted a message on Amazing House I built! Also my first post here! :)Hey everyone!Posted in: Screenshots
My name is NightWolf9, and I just today registered on these forums. I consider myself a nice person, so if you have any questions feel free to ask! I'm also a Moderator for the Mineplex server.
Just recently, I finished up a house I made. I decided to make my first post on this forum about it, as I really do enjoy building, and wanted to show off a build I am very proud of.
I did this build 100% by myself, with the tools World Edit and Voxel Sniper for the terraforming bits.
You can see some images of my build here
Tell me what you think of it! I appreciate constructive criticism!
Thanks for reading, and have a nice day! -

NorthMustang posted a message on Squirrels! A mob to add ambiance and more to the forest!Nice one, but I do like MrVops' idea (to some extent) We really need more night time ambiance maybe not the actual bugs and stuff - Hey I got it! We could have firefly particles in the forests at night. Along with some cricket chirps. I WOULD SO LOVE THIS!!!Posted in: Suggestions -

BlueThunder796 posted a message on 1.9 Suggestionsthere are many things that i would like to see in Minecraft within the upcoming updates and since 1.8 came out i have thought of a list. some of these ideas may seem stupid but i would like them in MinecraftPosted in: Suggestions
1.Flags.
we have banners so why not have flags that are just side ways versions of banners and could be made larger to make a bigger flag.
2. Less common new biomes.
when 1.7 came out i was happy with the new biomes but now all i see when im in Minecraft is Roofed forest, Savanna, plains, taiga, swamp and desert. im not against them at all but i would just like to see the biomes equally spread out instead of a few occuring biomes.
3. More blocks.
Im a builder and a explorer so i like when a new block comes out for me to build with. and i like exploring about as well. my favourite block is the Stained Clay as its so versatile. i would like to see more walls made out of stuff like andesite, granite, diorite, sandstone, stone, stone bricks and more. and also it would be neat if we could have some blocks that were indented for torches and other stuff. like an stone block with a hole in it for torches as such. it may not make sense but it might. i would also like if more trees like redwood, eucalyptus and huge 3x3 or 4x4 trees were added and more types of stones (more) and some possibilities to change the woods and combine them. also glass should have stairs and slabs along with wool. stone should have stairs.
4. More food.
Oooh Food. we have apples so why not add oranges, bananas, pears and stuff. what about fruits that grow on the ground like strawberries? why not have juices to go with it. add more stews and make a dinner possibility for a roast dinner. have a wooden bowl with potatoes and steak with carrots and bread. we have cocoa so why not add milk and sugar to make chocolate? what about a sugar cube and that gives you a small energy boost?
5. More ores.
This is something that everyone asks for each update but i dont want over powered ores that take the aspect of realistic mining out of the game. but we have emeralds and before that rubies (but they got swapped for emeralds before the snapshot was released) so why not add them back in and add sapphires as well. to add more gems into the game and get people go mining for the new gems. emerald will still be as rare but maybe if ruby is a bit more common than diamond and sapphire about as rare as lapis maybe
6. new tools
if the new ores are added then new tools would be great as well. Diamond is the top tool right now but if emerald tools were added then they would be the best. maybe give them a duribility of around 2000. ruby could be just less than diamond and sapphire 3 times as good as iron maybe. so there not as good to use but they can still be a different tool to what has been around for so long.
7. More redstone related items
An extended piston which can push out further than normal ones would be nice and also we have hoppers which have to feed hoppers to move somewhere so what about hopper pipes? they could be connected to a hopper and move items the same speed as hoppers and can go any direction although going upwards could be slower as it has to push up. this would save having complex elevator systems. An other idea is a redstone clock and a timer add on
8. More Dungeons.
Im not asking for much but it would be nice if there was something more challenging than the mossy cobble dungeons. maybe something with traps and spawners and stuff.
9. More weapons and armour
Adding the armour and weapon equivalents of the new ores would be nice and maybe some extra weapons like a crossbow and daggers and shields and spears and javelins would be a cool addition and it ties in with the simplicity of minecraft. also adding a quiver to store arrows would be nice instead of it filling up your inventory and chests
10. More Mobs
have you ever sailed the sea and been bored as there isnt anything to look at. what if they added schools of fishes and pods of dolphins to look at. maybe some monkeys in the jungle and they eat bananas, penguins in snow biomes, and birds to watch in the sky. how cool would that be.
Im out of ideas for now but i will add more as i think of them
please support these ideas - To post a comment, please login.

[ATB] Environment Conquest
Current Version v1.0.0 (Released on 22nd May 2016)
Download:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/qgk899b0u3zu13y/Environment Conquest.zip
Hello, my name is Vops and I am the proud creator of my very first and latest map called Environment Conquest. I have spent the past year and a half trying to create a new and engaging experience for Survival Minecraft players that takes on this new genre I have also created called ATB, which stands for Activate the Beacons and as you can guess, the goal is to capture all the beacons in this map.
Objective:
Find and capture 3 beacons per area. There are a total of 4 areas in the map and here are some of the screenshots of the areas you will see in this map:
Ruby Canyon:
Emerald Forest:
Snowfrost Peaks:
Monument Mountain:

Environment Conquest is created by Vops,
Please do not claim Environment Conquest as your own work. However YouTube videos of this map are more than welcome and are much appreciated and if possible, please post the first episode in the comments section of this post so I can later post a list of people who played this map via YouTube.
Also as the creator of the ATB genre, anyone can most definitely create their own ATB maps! I would love to see people upload their own ATB maps as long as it’s their own works and nothing is copied from my map, apart from the Redstone which I give permission for people to replicate it. I’ll try and post a YouTube tutorial on how you can re-create these capture beacons into your own map for the map maker’s convenience. I’ll update this post with this tutorial video once I’ve made it…
Please report any bugs with this map as it’s currently in v1.0

I'd have to agree with ViCABO in terms of the block palette in the second photo. Perhaps when there's a stable snapshot available, you could experiment with the new magma blocks, they blend quite well with the lava and gives the overall cave some texture. The top one on the other hand looks amazing and so does the level design layout! I'm excited for more of these snapshots

It would add so much to the game though, anyone would be happy to have colorful things. Like stained torches to have colored lighting would add a lot to the game. And having stained wooden swords can add an aspect to map making. They added dyed leather armor so why not make colored tools? It would be a lot of work but mojang should be able to handle it imo.

Exactly what I was thinking, more ways to farm gives you a new way to play the game

You are right but more crops like corn or tomatoes would add more to the farming part of the game because currently you can only plant carrots, potatoes and wheat. I'm excluding other types of farms like hostile mobs, cow, sugarcane etc...
