Jun 1, 2012You're running out of RAM indeed. RAM is used by every single running program you have open at the time, so if there is not enough of it then things tend to not work, i.e. Minecraft. If you have things running in the background close them. This includes webpages, other programs, things in your taskbar, etc. Try having fewer things running and turning the graphics on Minecraft down. If this doesn't help then you will either need to play on a different computer or, as the guy above me said, upgrade your RAM.Posted in: Legacy Support

Also fixed a minor oversight with redstone tools having a blue tooltip. And slightly altered the armour textures for Volfgang.
And I think that's it.
Haha, just as I finish installing the mod you come out with an update. Heh, well I'll just update then because you mentioned my name, and I'll give you my opinion on the new textures. Pretty fun mod so far. Happy you can enchant the crafted stuff just like normal. Keep it up.

Please help me i got a different pc right? and it wont let me play minecraft! please help! i get this message when i load it!
Bad video card drivers!
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Oh the horror that is Dell. Dell video cards have the biggest compatibility issues with Minecraft. I honestly don't know what else to tell you. :sad.gif:
Dec 1, 2011Are you using the right IP address? For a Local connection (which means you're all using the same router) go to your start menu and type in CMD and hit enter. In the box that opens type in "ipconfig". I bunch of info will display. Look for the line that begins with IPv4 Address. The number there should be along the lines of 192.168.... That is the IP that your friends need to type. If you're NOT using the same router, visit this website to find out your internet IP and tell your friends to use that. Finally, make sure none of your anti-virus programs are blocking them. I use Webroot and sometimes when I start my own personal server after awhile it will block my friends from connecting. All I have to do is allow the server program to run and then they can connect. That should solve your problem.Posted in: Legacy Support

Ah, thanks Volfgang. I do get the hrr_err in my Documents folder. That makes sense, I'm thinking of getting a new laptop soon anyway. Thanks again for the help! +1
Glad I could help. :cool.gif:
Dec 1, 2011There is an issue with either Java or your graphics card. Mine does the same because my graphics card doesn't support Advanced OpenGL. Everytime I turn it on or fullscreen the game it immediately closes. There should be a file appearing on your desktop called hrr_err or whatever. If you find one of these appearing, then it is your graphics card. You can try updating it, but chances are if it doesn't work now it won't ever work on that card. You'd have to get a new one.Posted in: Legacy Support
