except modding is on PC and marketplace is not (save for a few PE mods that exist)
And those few PE mods are rip-offs of more famous PC mods (like Pixelmon... actually, mostly Pixelmon.)

The tutorial will only appear if you're REALLY struggling. Even if you're new and got started on your feet instantly, it won't show. But if you're like 4 and don't know how to move, then the tutorial starts. So it literally will only appear for those who don't have a brain, which those people do exist.Like zombies.
I think they added it in perfectly. It only tells you how to do basic things if you're not doing them properly. Ex: If you don't move for a short time, it shows you directional controls. If you spam click to break a tree, it'll tell you that you need to hold the mouse button down. The tutorial doesn't go very far, I think it just helps you until you craft and that's about it. So like 4 short sessions of tutorial that took around 30 seconds.

You realise Microsoft has no say over what Mojang do with the game?
Quote from TheMinecraftNerd1»
No April Fools joke? Seems like someone won't let Mojang do April Fools jokes on us.
First
...and, this is going to be the best update ever! Keep it up, Mojang!
Well that's good, new mobs are always wolcome. Unless we talk about some ridiculous crazycraftish mob. Anyway, parrots? Didn't see that one coming, I hope they'll have some use and are not as annoying as bats (still love them though). And "a little Minecraft twist"? You bet I find out what this "little thing" is.

To all the people who think minecraft is all about mods well IT ISNT!!!!

Technically, that wasn't code.
Those were (old) minecraft in-game command fragments. I just put them in code blocks because otherwise this forum's crappy editor (what have they done to it this time?) would remove everything between and including the triangular brackets:
<all of this would have been deleted>

For as far as I've heard it, it's as follows:
Vanilla's current system has limited itself to 1024 block IDs for some reason, even though they reserve memory space for 4096.
Forge uses this fact to break out of the 1024 block limit and get up to 4096 block IDs. Vanilla could probably easily do that as well.
The system currently used to uniquely identify a type of block is<block ID>:<metadata>
, where the block ID can have a value from 0 to 4095 and metadata a value from 0 to 15. Currently, different blocks (stone, dirt, gravel, wool) use different block IDs, even if they only have one metadata state.* Wool uses all 16 of its metadata values for the different colours, stone uses about five (smooth, cobble, andesite, etc.) and dirt uses two or three (dirt, grass, snowy).
Since about 90% (this is a guestimation, not a fact) of the blocks only uses 1 metadata value, 15/16 * 90% ~= 85% of all reserved block storage space is effectively unused. There are ways to get around this if you are a good mod author, but in Vanilla this is hard-coded.
I have heard, that for this very reason, Vanilla Minecraft is going to swap out the old<block ID>:<metadata>
system with a new<blockstate ID>
system, that uses 4096 * 16 = 65536 IDs ranging from 0 to 65535 to denote this blockstate ID.
For instance, white wool would have blockstate ID 684, black wool 685, green wool 686, etc. All of this, of course, would be deep within the code of Minecraft. Regular Minecraft players would probably use this in commands of the form
/setBlock <coordinates> minecraft:wool {green}
or
/setBlock minecraft:stairswood {top, north}
, so they would barely notice what has changed in the background
I really like this.
You made me love those strings of code. Now I want to learn java XD

Mods add new items and IDs through the use of Forge - that's why Forge is required for mods.
Quote from CheshireWesterfield»
Because these blocks take up block IDs that could be used for items people have been requesting for many years.
I would add the giant moths. It spawns at night in plains, deserts, savannahs, and more rarely in the snowy plains. It's larger than the Player, maybe something like 3,5x3,5 blocks. It can fly, it's solitally passive, but it attacks you if you attack it or if you have some food in your hands. It attacks slowly. When it doesn't want to attack, he flies passively and randomly over the plains/dunes.

What do you want exactly? What feel are you aiming for?

It's a good idea but I don't know any mod that adds it.
Also, you're not supposed to bump your thread...

No prob!
So... do you mean something like Mr. Crayfish's Furniture
ShopMod? If so, then it's okay0
Woaw! This looks great. You need advertising.

You are hurting my feelings, builders are designers, too... :,(
And miners didn't really "get some love" in the past updates
But... I'm going to forgive you because of "these are not chairs, Jeb"
I'm not sure of the suggestion. Half support. It would discourage people from getting creative and building "not chairs", "not couches", and "not armoirs"... :/
But yes it is actually a thing we could use... I'm going to agree with Mastermind, though: furniture is ok, but not if it gets too detailed!

Can't wait to see this for 1.13
Weell, most people would recommend you to never use a beta mod in modpacks

Awoo, NEAT!
Hey, the mod is actually pretty popular (well, not really, but just because it's not out yet)... Why don't you PM some skilled modder or modeler and ask for help?
0
I mean. FTB (Feed The Beast) has it's own official modpack, and Technic does, too, with Tekkit, BUT I'm not asking the differences between Tekkit and FTB Modpack, I'm asking the pros-and-cons of uploading your own modpack on FTB or on Technic

Oh, haha, lol

Oh, it appears to be "The saltwater crocodile"... Thank you Wikipieda

No, I mean pet games, like the ones you and I have in our signatures XD
Yea what's the largest living lizard then, lol?
0
I know, but I don't think anyone cares xD That would be a nice mechanic in a pet game or something, but in most cases people prefer to think of them as guys who change their color to become OMG invisible

Depends on the block they are standing on

Hehe dear reptile lover, it's just a random chameleon, not a precise species...
And here is your pic:
