posted a message on Minecraft launcher won't even open

I've seen others have this problem. However my problem seems to be unsolvable from the last two hours I've been trying every different thing I could find.

    Things I've tried doing:

    - Running Minecraft as administrator
    - Uninstalling then reinstalling Minecraft
    - Deleting the .minecraft folder contents
    - Uninstalling and reinstalling/updating Java (With and without the JavaRa application)
    - Installing an older version of Java
    - Changing how Java runs upon startup

Note that I did restart the computer upon each attempt at fixing Minecraft.

Is there anything I left out? Minecraft was literally working just fine the hour before I closed it, then tried running it. Is there any hope? I've been desperate to find an answer for this.

I'm 99% sure that wild wolves do not teleport and even more sure that it's the system being weird and laggy and that's why it's "teleporting"

Hmm, looks like /spawnpoint playername would be a better solution, actually. I was looking at several other issues I'd have to solve as well with my original plan. It looks like /spawnpoint doesn't affect the default world spawn, is that correct? So, if I were to use it for a new player, their original spawn would be the coords specified, but if another new player joined without me using /spawnpoint, they would spawn within 10 blocks of the original worldspawn, am I getting that right? (Assuming I hadn't changed it with /setworldspawn. )

    Correct.

That zoo idea is pretty cute. Look forward to how you would handle Ghasts lol.

Anyways I never once heard of wild wolves that can teleport. Are you sure every corner of your pen is sealed and over 2 blocks high from the highest block?

Isn't everyone Minecraft Premium, just not in the Forum.

Quote from Rotasizxif you are not "premium" you can't play minecraft anyway. unless you pirate it. this question is pretty much pointless.

Rotas already explained this. Almost everyone can be Minecraft Premium, except those with cracked/torrented clients and accounts.

Easy there :p. I think you're mixing up Curse Premium and Minecraft Premium. Curse Premium is where you don't see ads on the forums and you have that cool tag. Minecraft Premium shows that you've bought the actual game. The term Minecraft Premium has been used less since the dissapearance of Minecraft Classic, but the Mojang migrate page still refers to "Minecraft Premium" ;).

No I'm 99% sure I was referring to the Curse Premium. I mentioned the tag/title and the ads being blocked.

EDIT: Ooooooooooooh this is referring to Minecraft Premium? There's my blonde moment for the day, I should avoid all others now. Yeah I was mixing them up in my mind and not realizing what I was saying.

EDIT2: Oh my god it's even the title, I feel god awful stupid right now. Lol.

posted a message on Wanna-Be Hackers are funny.
Hacking in general are for sexually frustrated lost souls who had their mothers neglect them at the age of birth. They're not funny, they need serious help guys, don't make fun of them.

Now that I'm done being sarcastic on that 2nd sentence, in all honesty most hackers need to realize that they won't get anywhere in life if they think that they can just earn things on a silver platter for doing nothing. Minecraft is funner to play legitimately and hacking doesn't give you the feeling of achievement that you would get from normal play.

    Oh aren't you cute?

I'd say a good 5% of users are premiums. The only thing that Premium really does that's useful is block ads and even then you can just install an adblocker for every window. I don't really care about the title or the premium forum. What would the premium forum even be used for anyways? It's not like it's pertained to any specific discussion.

posted a message on Are you scared? Mad? Or happy?
None of those 3 title feelings match how I feel. It's a mix between curiosity and anticipation. Where Microsoft takes Minecraft in the next year will ultimately either make or break it, and we won't know which road Minecraft goes down until they release the 1.9 update.

Until then, I can't say for absolute certainty that people should be mad or happy. Microsoft really hasn't done too much yet. Scared, I can understand, but people getting angry or happy over it should rethink how they feel before Microsoft even does anything.

As far as I know you can set a specific 1x1 spawn point for every new person by using /setspawn or a command block. I don't run servers so don't count my word on that, but I'm 90% sure I at least heard you can do that.

Viminas, is your avatar not a girl? The plains vs swamp thing was an intended MTG reference. You hate swamps. Swamp is the land for the black mana colour. Black magic is the enemy of white magic. White land is called plains. Ta da!

My avatar being a girl doesn't make me a girl though lol. Anyways yeah I knew what you meant, you didn't need to explain that.
