It's really annoying seeing people complain about servers that are pay-to-play for reasons other than legal concerns. If you are tired of playing on these types of servers because people that put money into the game have more benefits than you, then you should realize that it is your decision that caused you to be in that situation. You don't have to play these types of servers, so please stop complaining about them.
With that being said, no, I'm not siding with anti-EULA enforcers, but it is equally annoying to see people stating a very obvious fact. When the new EULA takes effect, pay-to-play servers will either shut down or find ways to generate revenue in a method that abides by the EULA. Face it, if you want Minecraft to be completely about fun and no other reason, stick to singleplayer.

Jun 13, 2014Vector posted a message on Mojang Announcement: EULA, and ServersPosted in: NewsQuote from Marcus101RR
The only way this will succeed, is if mojang recodes minecraft with a master-server. This would mean that if your account gets flagged for abusing these rules, they will suspend your ability from hosting a minecraft server on your account. This also means in order to run a server on any machine you need to login to your account.
So basically it will be just like minecraft client.
1. Login, to host server.
2. Check if account is flagged for violations.
3. If not violation, host server.
4. Profit.
ELSE
3. Account flagged for violations.
4. Server disabled for online play, only LAN players can join.
5. YOU LOSE, GOOD DAY SIR.
That is the only way mojang can control servers, which i doubt their team will program. So 100,000 servers will continue to operate and abuse the EULA, which means absolutely crap. I don't see how this will be beneficial to anyone.
Not only do I highly doubt they would ever waste their time programming such a type of server, but I also am really disappointed in reading this type of suggestion. I don't understand why the solution to any problem such as this is usually resulting in everyone becoming the victim. Action should only be taken against those responsible in breaking rules. -

Yea, hopefully the spammers stop spamming soon about their username
I think maybe you should pay a small price for this feature. Like 2 dollars or something.

Jul 23, 2012Vector posted a message on Lawsuit Filed Against Mojang - This Time, For Obscure PatentUniloc isn't dumb for filling lawsuits against people, but they are just getting way to money hungry, which I really don't see how they will pull off all of the cases. The lawsuit itself is ridiculous and pretty much makes it seem as if this world we live in has no theme of innovation whatsoever, which is completely absurd.Posted in: News

I'm not sure what programming languages consoles are able to interpret and use, but if they use the same language, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem when it comes to recoding the framework of the game.
Also, I wouldn't say having Minecraft on a console is bad, but it isn't very comfortable, since PC games usually give the user more modification capabilities and control.

You might want to start worrying about stuff other than your grades if you want to get in a good college.
OT: I always had all A's until I got in high school, which is when I received my very first B. Last year (my junior year), I started getting more focused and got all A's and one B.

It's a weird statement, but what I meant by it is that mods made the game too easy, which took away the true experience and reasoning of the game. I've always dreamed of having an amazing world built legitimately with no mods used in the process, and doing hardcore is another step up.

I added a few more categories to the media spoiler, as well as another day recap. I would have changed it sooner, but my internet provider had a huge outage, which resulted in the temporary disconnection of my internet. Fortunately, I was able to play my world due to the offline mode (thanks Mojang), which turned out to be a few decent hours of exploring.

That's certainly something I'll try in the near future, thanks for the idea! I plan to start searching for a spot to settle down at, and hopefully start building a "fortress".

Everything she says is completely true. To be successful, you will need to sacrifice some things, such as your time and own benefit. If you are looking to do this for a financial cause, you should really just get a job.

Yes, sorry if the thread wasn't quite clear enough, although I'm positive it should have been.
Thank you for the support!
Also, I'm going to be starting a video series as soon as I get a microphone.

Day 1:
Today was the birth of my project, Welcome to Hell, and it turned out to be great. I found temporary shelter, which was above a huge cave. Unfortunately, I got lost (silly me) after coming up to harvest my crops and collect food from other sources. After getting lost, I gave up trying to find the temporary shelter, which led to me wandering off into the vast world, and eventually, coming across two wolves which I tamed. It seemed as if these two would be the only companions I have, or at least I thought; I came across what seemed to be a house, which could only be one thing right? An NPC village! I decided to stop and rest in one of the houses, which was also a stopping spot for the first day of my hardcore world. Everything turned out just fine.
Day 2:
The main part of today was exploring, which I did in order to find a spot to settle down at and begin building my base. I came across another NPC village, as well as a desert fortress, in which, fortunately, I recovered several bones and two diamonds, plus an enchanted book. After another hour of exploring, I found what I believe to be the perfect spot for a base; a huge, flat mountain.
I'm extremely sorry if the thread may seem bare at the moment, but it is due to the recent creation of this project. If you have any suggestions for this project, such as thread recommendations, mini-projects, or other things, please post below.
Any support is greatly appreciated, so if you like the idea and direction of this thread, please follow it so that you can keep up with progress. Also, please vote this post up to show your support.

Just as the quote states, if you do the same thing over and over again, and you expect different results, you will go insane, either with boredom or some other emotional reason. Basically, if are bored of Minecraft, try doing something new. Imagination is everything, especially in a game that allows you to access whatever material you need to quench that imagination.

If you purchased your computer from some manufacturer rather than building it yourself, I really believe your story is made up. Even if you did build your own computer, I highly doubt you can play Minecraft 120 FPS while recording, because there is no card out there that will allow you do to so with the budget you posted.
If this person really wants to take the cheapest route, they will want to buy all of the computer parts and build the computer themselves. You could get a decent gaming computer for $600-$700 if you bought all of the parts and built the computer yourself.

I agree that people keep comparing things in the current Minecraft version to things in previous versions, and there isn't a problem with that; however, people are asking for things to be reverted, when they were changed for some given reason.
