It looks like this build by the way, but this one is even better
That's not a build, that's just the far lands, which is a land generation glitch or phenomena caused because of the limitations of computer memory.
You're posting in a thread where a map author has made a custom world for Minecraft.
Actually, because I always get viruses and re-install the windows,I dont place my MC saves on your maps on a cd/dvd and I always download your maps, and well,I guess I downloaded every map at least 5 times
So, Sexy Vexy, I've been planning a CTM map for quite a while now (working on it on and off, I'm fickle and keep scrapping what I have only to start over and do it all over again, but this time I plan on sticking with it).
Anyway, I have plenty of things planned and I want to name an item after you, but I can't decide what. Any preferences?
Just wanted to say thank you to Vechs for yet another masterpiece. The use of the new mobs drops to continuously provide basic items such as sword, armor etc as we know the death rates will be high is simiply brilliant.
To me, the map feels like an 80's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure over the typical CTM maps. I Love It!!
I did think it was a bit evil to give a warm and cozy false sense of hope by offering up white wool so easily. LOL
... Your hard work is appreciated!!
Thank you
One of my goals on IM was to reduce the resource grind a little bit, so you find a lot more items in chests instead of having to craft them yourself.
So today I was playing Inferno Mines when I reach the Outer Inferno. I rode the mine cart and stop at the first station (with the nether quartz stairs). I enter the big ruin with the cobblestone bridge and that is when my Minecraft stop working. I tried re-log, but it did not work. I moved myself via mcedit and try to get there again. Still Crashes. Anyone know what is causing the problem and how can I solve it? I really like to play this map. Thx!
My school emphasized getting things right the first time, and the attitude of "Oh, I'll just fix it in post" was frowned upon. I "edit' with my F9 key. I visualize what I want to film, and then just make my pure raw footage be what I want. Doing this makes you not get complacent, and always feel that you need to be doing your best.
I'm also kinda proud of my ninja cuts. There are times when I have needed to go AFK for over an hour right in the middle of recording, and I'll F9 to stop recording, sometimes in mid-sentence, and then come back and F9 to resume, and begin talking immediately, and nobody notices the cut.
Record you audio separately in Audacity, Vetches. And I'm not sure if you're still using Windows Live Movie Maker, but you should switch to something else. I use VideoPad Video Editor. It's $100 but really good. You get free updates for three months at which point you get a discount to rebuy, but other than that and the slightly slow preview build it's a good bit of software.
Or I could just not derp up the recording in the first place. Recording with Audacity audio and FRAPS video would also mess up my specific style of editing. (Yes I'm really particular about how I do it... I'm kinda old-school.)
That said I did spend about 2 hours using VirtualDub and Audacity trying to salvage my audio. I couldn't work out a good way to adjust it, so I figured I'd just upload what I had of it, in case someone wants to see it.
It would have been easier if my mic had just been muted. Then I would have said "oh well" and made a music montage of the footage. But because the audio is really quiet, yet still there, I feel like maybe it's passable. *shrugs*
Well, Vechs, you've inspired me again. A video shall be made~
I am so incredibly sad. My recording session today was ruined by a misconfigured microphone setting (this footage goes public tommorow at 3pm) and my voice is really quiet.
I specifically gave you a lot of material to work with in this episode... so maybe you can salvage some of the audio, I dunno.
I'm.... so depressed that the episode is derped up because of the sound. I thought I had a lot of funny commentary.
Witches are OP. In fact, poison is in general. Since it was added, the only thing that counteracts poison (besides cryboxes) has been milk, which can be a hassle.
My question is this: What should Mojang add to counteract the OP witches/poison?
I thought of a few myself, such as a Potion of Poison Resistance, a Poison Resistance enchantment, and an NBT tag that can make witches throw certain kinds of potions (example: Instead of a speed shower potion, have a speed shower witch). In fact, the same thing with Cave Spiders would be cool (ex: Blindness Cave Spider)
But enough about me, what do you think?
I've already asked for milk in glass bottles. If they're added, I'll make all witches drop milk bottles.

Super Hostile: Dalania
Probably about as far as I can take vanilla 1.12 Minecraft.

Terra Restore is similar to Super Hostile. This thread you posted in was created March 4, 2011.

... and welcome to MInecraft mapping! I hope you have fun with the work-- and it is a lot of work!

Spellbound Caves II for the Super Hostile Modpack is out on Early Access!! Check main post.
Oh, sorry for the break from mapping, btw, I went through a YouTuber phase and also spent about 1,000 man-hours making the Super Hostile Modpack.

A bow or .... yeah, a bow.

Crash the game if there is void on the map. (There's void in most CTM maps.)

Do you have any mods?
Did you craft a map?

Oh that?
That's a thing. I think the red wool looks nice.

Doesn't work like that. Voice would have been louder, sure, but the Minecraft sound effects would have blown out your speakers.

It would be a Vaks. Kind of like the Zistykins. They're not the actual person, just a cheap copy that has some of their traits.
Skeleton riding a bat with a flame bow, IMHO.

Milk buckets felt OP to me.
About 3.5 to 4 million.
