Just make sure you put the bold formatting after the colour formatting. If you do bold before, the colour formatting code will override the bold.

That means that the ID's for mod items on your client don't match with the ID's on the server. You can change them in the mod's config files on either your client or on the server.

Waila, and Optifine are client side only mods. Remove them from the server. Dynamic Lights may be too, if removing those first two doesn't work try removing Dynamic Lights.

You don't need an installer for the server, you need to start the minecraft_server.jar file using a .bat file. Open a blank Notepad file and put this in it.
Then save the file as start.bat in the same location as the .jar file (or what you see as a zip). Now double click the .bat file to run it, if you get a message about the EULA, then you've succeeded. Just do what it says to agree to the EULA and get your server started.

Can you screenshot what it looks like in your file system?

The file shouldn't be zipped, it should be a .jar file. Are you downloading it from here?

If you're using 1.7.10, then you can use Cauldron or KCauldron to run Bukkit plugins with Forge mods. However, Cauldron isn't available for 1.8, 1.9, or 1.10. The best you can get for those versions is to use SpongeForge, which allows you to use Sponge plugins with Forge mods.

If you've added mods, what mods are you using?

Have you confirmed that Votifier is properly set up and processing votes?

That's to be expected, the forums as a whole have been on a downward trend for a while now. A lot has changed in the 3.5 years since the last chat thread.

I'm surprised to see this back, I thought it was gone forever!

You could say that about any section really, why should the clans section have priority over any others? Keep in mind that I'm saying this as somebody who would like to see clans flourish, it just wouldn't be fair to other sections. General Off Topic could surely get some more love if we moved it up there. The current sorting of sections is based on what we believe is most relevant to our users at the top, and least at the bottom, it doesn't really make sense to break that for any section just so they can get more traffic than another.

Most of the moderation that happens in these forums comes from reports, it's not that the moderators are avoiding the clans section (at least I'm not), more that we don't get many reports for here. I noticed that there was an influx of reports in the section just recently stemming from this thread, and those have been handled. You can help improve the clans section yourself just by reporting the threads like that you see, I'll also try to keep an eye on it myself more. About the creation of a subforum, that doesn't really seem like a good idea to me. The clans section is already quite inactive like you guys have already said. Trying to split up the more traditional clans and the gaming community like clans doesn't really make sense to me. They're both technically clans, just different types. We're not splitting up server types in the PC servers section, or mods in the mods section, so why clans in the clans section? It could be a possibility to add prefixes to differentiate the different types like we do in the PC servers section if that's something that people want.

I handled it for you.
