    This could either be a video/graphics card problem or a Java problem.

    I recommend updating both, then post the results of how the game runs afterward (quote my post to get a quicker response).

    Well, this problem seems to be quite common, but the only recommendation I can make is to contact Mojang with your problem. I haven't necessarily had this occur to me.

    Generally, if it says that it is not downloaded, there may have been an error on installation.

    When you get the login error where it says that it is not downloaded, I recommend that you restart Minecraft and go to the Options button before logging in, you will see a button that says Force Update.

    After clicking it, hit done and try logging in. It should start installing all of the things you need to play correctly.

    If any further problems occur, quote this post with the problems and I will help.

    There may have been a spelling error in registration. Contact Mojang and they can fix it for you, being that you know most of the information you used on the account when signing up.

    It may also just be a spelling error when you are trying to sign in.

    If it is a migration error, milly has to contact Mojang Support with as much information on both accounts as possible. Such as her full legal name that was on the credit card used to purchase the account or anything else used to purchase it. The Contact E-mail address is where they will respond to the ticket. Everything below that is all about the account. The Transaction ID can be found in the e-mail entered on registry/purchase.

    Go to your e-mail, search just 'Mojang' and find the first e-mail from them. It should be in there.

    Visit the link above to send them a direct e-mail/support ticket. They will respond by e-mail within 4 days to a week and a half, depending on the day.

    It is either a failure in migration or the way your Firewall repels the connections of Minecraft.net

    I recommend checking your Firewall settings and see if anything is being blocked/not allowed.

    Be sure to include everything you know on the account. Your full name, contact e-mail address, the account e-mail address in which you registered your Minecraft account with, your Minecraft username, most importantly your transaction ID, and then in the subject box make sure to make it clear of what the problem is, in summary.

    For example:

    Subject: My account was compromised! URGENT!

    And in the message part, be sure to include dates of purchase/activation and the date when you couldn't access your account first.

    It may take a little while for them to respond, but please do be patient, they have a lot of requests daily. It should take at least 5-6 days for them to send you an e-mail back, hopefully with good news that they have recovered your account.
