Here in the US, many people think Gay Marriage shouldn't be allowed, merely because they are Homophobes and think it's morally wrong, because it says so in the Bible. What these people say should be completely discounted. Not because of who they are, but because they are using Religion to validate a discriminatory act. It's a prime example of separation of Church and State. Religion should have no interference with the policies of any Government. So, if it wasn't obvious before, I am for Gay Marriage.
If God created all of us, why did he create Gays? Why does he wait for them to go to Hell and burn, why doesn't he just smite them with lightning, why did he even let them be born? Is this another "Test"

Everything in the world is based off solid evidence, something that has a backing to it. In Religion, you cannot ask for evidence, because very little exists.
The earliest Gods were created by Humans to explain the things that they themselves could not. Such as Lightning, Storms, Earthquakes, Stars, and Earth. They used there imaginations to create beings that were much like humans, which took there form. They lived where the people couldn't see, clouds, tops of high mountains, etc. As time progressed, as Science began explaining the phenomenal events of Nature, Religion began slowly dying, as we learned that no, the Sun was not a God riding a Chariot across the sky.
Every Religion believes in the same "God", under different names, and appearances. But yet all Religions believe that they, alone are right. A Christian doesn't believe in Allah. But the Christians, are sure they are right. So are Jews and Muslims.
To put it into the words of Dawkins, "We are all Atheists, but some of us take it one God further."
Yes, but why, when there is no real, scientific evidence for it? Where did God come from? And what is he made off. Where is he? Things that should be addressed in Religion, but aren't? That I am aware of.
I know I probably won't get a very comprehensive answer, but I'm looking for one. The argument for an Uncreate God is silly. If you do not prevent a shred of evidence on what God is, besides saying "I know God exists because the Bible says so", then I won't give the argument any credibility. You can't use evidence from the article of the debate.
I know you may have discussed it in the last thread. But I didn't read it, so I would like to have some things addressed.
I find the argument for an "Uncreate" God quite... lacking. It is providing absolutely no evidence. Besides what the person that says it believes. You cannot have evidence for something that has no signs of existing. Something that wasn't created or will never die. Something that shouldn't really exist. What is God made of? Where is he? I have never gotten a comprehensible answer from anyone, except for that he resides in a different dimension, can defy the Laws of Physics, and always has been, and always will be. Which doesn't make much sense. It shouldn't be regarded as an argument.
It must have been Trexmaster flaming and randomly insulting everyone on the last thread. We need to express to some people (Trex) that insulting the person, not there argument, has no place in civilized discussion.
I will say I am an Atheist. I am not very knowledgeable on the subject of Theology, so I'll try to stay out of discussion.
I'm fine with it occasionally, like, every 20-30 minutes, but Minecraft is jamming and/or crashing to desktop every five minutes. Making it practically unplayable. The fact that I have to restart every 5 minutes, but that I lose everything I was just working on.
The issue is, this would make Biomes useless. Personally, I would've preferred Notch add season instead of Biomes, because realistically, small patches of snow don't just randomly appear. What if he removed Biomes so weather makes more sense? Yea right. Notch really, really needs to read this.
EDIT: After reading about Disasters again... I like some of them. But if you add it up, it's about 20% that a disaster, any type, is going t happen. Which means Day or night, you have a 20% chance of your house being razed by a meteorite. Maybe make it that a certain amount of disasters can happen per season?
