By Moradin's Beard! This is truly a magnificent project, I can't think up much to say, but lads, it's truly moving. Only suggestion: the music is just not Dwarven enough for the Great Halls of Kaer Toria. It requires more bass. Yup, my only nitpick is the music, the project itself is flawless!

I'll try and recommend it to Saradel, for next time he makes a video.

Wow, your lucky and amazing. You might have spended a mighty long time on that, and can't believe you have the time for it.

We were lucky in more then one way :tongue.gif: While digging out Kaer Toria we managed to avoid a lot of caverns, making the digging process faster.

I saw the thread title, and my first thought was:
    A DWARF FORTRESS!

    OP, you are awesome.

Glad you enjoy both this and Dwarf fortress! :Diamond:

    LOVE it!

I am currently working on my own dwarven kingdom, the rub is that early on i determined myself not to make any gratuitous rooms or buildings just because "there should be a room there."
As a result my fortress takes on a deathstar-like not-quite-done look and I've sort of hit builder's block with it.
While I await inspiration I'm constructing a massive monster trap which spans from the heavens down to bedrock and building the odd structure on my landscape or mapping out the kingdom-limit walls and laying down markers.

Anyhow, well done and good luck!

I'm interested in your current project, maybe you can take some screenshots of it, or even a video! It sounds awesome.

4 months, and only a quarter done. You sir, are a determined fellow. I would've given up in the first week.

During the entire thing, he was going more and more insane. He saw blocks in his dreams, even started seeing the world as a block shaped world.

Loved the entrance and the spiral-stairs leading up to the surface. Very impressive project overall!
Just one question: Is this done legit by yourself? If I counted correctly the size is 16x16 on those hallways and they go on for so long. Must have taken days in /played to dig the hallways.

Yes, it is legit. And no not days, months.

    - I would enjoy being a reclaimer. I like the idea of finding the players builds and giving it back to nature.
    - The wild, I already have plans for a city. [>>-i>]
