First off, let me begin by saying I don't want to offend anyone. I'm cool with furries, some of my friends happen to be such.
But I was just wondering, alot of the people who play Minecraft seem to be furries. Is there a reason for this?
(And if anyone finds the term "Furry" offensive, let me know what to call it, I'll change it! :smile.gif: )
They're popular everywhere, on every site, everywhere. Same with bronies, same with memes.

Without religion society would still progress normally IMO. Without morals we would be savages quick and simple. Marriage is also something I believe in although I do believe that divorce should be kept as a last resort but that is another debate.
Oh look, this post again.
Religions didn't brings morals, it brought rules which enforced morals onto people.

I agree with this man, if somebody is an atheist you should be fine with that, you just look like an annoying brat when you don't. I'm a christian, lutheran to be specific, but I still think others should be allowed to beleive what they want.
What I don't like is atheists trying to make religious people more atheists, if you hate the idea of god so much why do you spend time you could be living your life trying to de-convert them.
I always hated when people said that.
"if you hate the idea of athiest trying to de-convert people so much why do you spend time you could be living your life trying change them."
Why do people go to work?
Why do people take daily walks?
Why do people stay fit?
Why do people believe in religion?
Why do goth do goth things?
Why do people feel the need to fight?
Why do people become teachers?
Why do people have sex?
Why do people go on the internet?
Why do people become sailors?
You've already said the answer.
Don't see it?
"if you hate the idea of god so much why do you spend time you could be living your life trying to de-convert them."
"....you could be living your life....."
It's exactly what I'm doing, what the goths are doing, what the bronies are doing, what the scientist are doing, what everyone in their life is doing. They're living their lives.

I think that's similar to the way my mom explained it to me. I think she said Christians believe Jesus is the son of God, but then it doesn't make sense to me, because if I'm correct, we are all children of God, or at least that's the Jewish belief. What I find shocking, though, is that Jesus was a Jew, but some Christians strongly despise Jews because they think we killed Jesus, or something like that, when the Romans did. So, do they hate Jesus?
It makes no sense to me.
Funny you mention that, it reminds me of this little joke.
"If God is every ones father, and jesus his only son. Does that make us all women?"

If thats how you'll do it, may I mention that God has a plan for EVERYONE, and I don't think that it is for a guy to be smited for peeing on a statue.
He knows everything, yes.
But see, that's how religion works. They give very very very vague statements, then pull it off as facts. The whole "He has a plan for everyone" is such horse crap. Anyone can write a book saying "I have a plan for everyone". The best part is, no one can go against it, want to know why?
"IT'S ALL PART OF MY MASTER PLAN"
"I MEANT TO DO THAT"
-Tactics used by 3rd graders everywhere, Oh, and the bible.
I remember a discussion a christian school girl was having, not the sexy kind, mentioning how the bible predicted 9/11. If I remember correctly it said "At some point a heretic will deal great amount of damage". But the thing is, it's so vague that it HAS to be right. It's amazing how retarded people are.
Oct 10, 2011What's that?! I can have a screen half the size of my current one for TWICE the price? What a deal.Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
BUT IT BENDS!
This is nice and all, but half of these gadgets serve no purpose other then to look glossy. And speaking of glossy, lets talk style. Some of these inventions/gadgets already exist. You've never heard of them you say? Well that's because of how "ridiculous" they look. No matter how advanced your super portable flexible computer+bathroom plugin is. If it doesn't look good people won't buy into it, they'd all rather their 500$ purses. As long as there's our society, there's no portable computer glasses. Now back to it all being useless, note that this only applies to a limited amount of gadgets. The reason the computer has been doing so well for so long is because it does what it does, and nothing more. People buy computers to surf the web, play games, watch movies, all at the same place. Now imagine having a computer in each of the rooms that you live in. All of them with these fancy displays and all equipped with interactive touch screens! Facebook in your bathroom you say?! That's nice and all, but paying thousands of dollars just to access your favorite websites while on your toilet is not worth it. (shocker, I know)
