Hello. Since you are reading this text, you have reached my profile page, so here's some stuff.

I am a Minecraft modder. My mods are called EndPlus, Deeper Caves, and FarLands.

To learn how to do ore generation in Forge 1.7.2 & 1.7.10, go here.

More info about my mods:

EndPlus improves the End, and also the Nether and Overworld. It adds many new features that turn the End into a much more interesting place. You can find it here.

Deeper Caves, as you can guess from the title, adds deeper caves. However. it's more than that. It adds more layers (dimensions) with completely different types of caves and sometimes new ores (current layer total: 9, planned final total: 16) You can find it here.

FarLands re-adds the Far Lands from Beta 1.7.3 and earlier.

I beta tested the Cobalt Minecraft Forums. Examples of bug reports and suggestions that I made are: Quote bug v1 and v2, polls not being editable, everything in the beta test section being listed on the homepage as "Server Ads", tweaking page titles on topics, visual themes (never got added).

Re: The annoying spammers/spambots

The spam that appears on this forum is quite annoying (fortunately I haven't seen as much recently). And yes, I agree with webrosc about this quote:

Webrosc said (stuff in [brackets] is mine):

"they [spammers] are worse than the borg"

He's quite right. More specifically, the best comparison would be to the Borg in the episode "Q Who" from Star Trek: TNG.

Q's quote about them would fit perfectly here, but I don't remember it at the moment :(. He basically said that the would keep after you and never stop (i.e. resistance is futile, but that quote did not appear until "The Best of Both Worlds, Part I").

This is exactly what the spammers do, they will keep trying to spam the forums with their junk (e.g. sports streams, kitchen cabinets, etc.) and never stop (the mods have to delete their posts constantly).
