Maybe not for the flying machines. If you want that, try Flan's Mod. For the farming machines, I suggest something less high-tech than tractors. Try medieval-style ox-pulled auto-tilling devices.

Awesome mod. I like Dwarf Fortress and this mod seems like DF in Minecraft.

Nope. You can try and use the portal gun mod or Thaumcraft's runes, but that's all I know of.

WHen I use this pack, all the blocks turn into gray squares and the only thing with a texture is the chest. (YES I PATCHED IT before you ask)

When I try to use the bombs on the airplanes, it locks my airplane's controls in place and I can't move or get out.

Let me rephrase that. I meant "how is a particle accelerator constructed" and if there is a viable way in the near future to make one for personal use.

I've seen the biographical video of Michio Kaukau and how he built a particle accelerator in 9th grade. I was wondering if there was any way to build a crude home-made betatron using simple parts and, if so, there were detailed instructions on how to do it. All I've seen in books, Web sites, movies, films, and videos is information on particle accelerators, not how to build one.

Thoughts/suggestions/hate mail?
