Invisibility hasn't been touched upon much. We have the potion and that's it. But why not bring it into trapping?
I propose the invisible pressure plate!
Crafted with 2 pieces of glass and a invisibility potion, it works exactly like a regular stone pressure plate, except it is invisible. However, that could be very OP. So, it can be seen with a potion of night vision. it would also have a very difficult to see streak, or some tell-tale particles.
I get ansry at myself when I forget this is not possible at the time, when making complicated traps. I support. In fact, I had a suggestion, that would really go welll with this. I Support!
Welcome! Unfortunately, your suggestion just doesn't feel like something that would be in vanilla, considering that:
A: Is Overpowered as it allows you to fly in survival.
B. Horn doesn't seem very useful.
C. A rainbow block can't be done well, as there would be much criticism on that sort of block.
Very nice idea, how about adding an alert one, one that alerts you hostile mobs, in a certain radius, to reduce creeping monster success. And a silence one, which mutes your actions? One question. Would they be found in mineshaft chests and/or Nether fortress chests?
Have you farmed wither skeletons lately? They might be infinite, but they are not a good source of coal. The main reason people don't mine coal is because they're afraid to go into caves in the early game. If they're afraid of caves, there's no way they're getting to the nether and hunting wither skeletons.
It's a good thing if there's a way to surpass the burning-out. I don't want the game to become super extreme hostile. Just one added challenge of working with burning-out torches; or if you really hate them, do a bit of work and get a pumpkin farm going, or do a different bit of work and mine some coal.
This doesn't even make any sense. Coal wouldn't change. That's the point. Coal pretty much stays the same (unless you go with my tweak of coal only give one torch per craft), while it's charcoal that changes.
I guess coal wouldn't have to change. If fear is the reason for using charcoal, then it would add more fear, if the charcoal torches burned out in supposedly safe areas allowing mobs to spawn, which means the same people terrified of going into the cave, would be terrified of going in a formerly well lit area where the torches burned out.
Zippy is actually quite right. Even the wiki said that Horses had been promised. Pigmen are in the same state as the spike block, lectern and Sky dimension. Limbo.
No. Why? Because although Charcoal is infinite, Wither Skeletons are too, and they drop coal. Therefore, the renew ability argument is out. As for burning out torches, Jack-o-Lanterns as said above can surpass this. In addition, coal would be needed in much bigger quantities, not something that a lot of people would like due to it's already high abundance. Do not create unnecessary complications.
I remember this from a couple of months. Took a little bit, but at least it didn't take as long as the ssswariorcats on Youtube. I waited a couple of years for that! Still, both are good shows.

And to Mathy, how about particles?
