Where are you learning about beryllium? I don't think it's very protective, but it is used in aerospace applications because of its rigidity and low density.
You're right; advanced technology is outside of the Minecraft theme, but just because it's used in 18+th century applications doesn't mean it can't be used for other things, like strengthening and adding extra damage abilities (because of its toxicity) to tools, weapons, and armor, as I've described in the first post. Plus, emeralds' sole use as villager currency makes them to be useless to players without access to villagers, which (on most servers) would be most players.
When combined with copper it is protective. And although advanced tecnology is usually discouraged, we managed to get redstone, which is similar to electricity, but it's still deifferent, so there could be a way to get stuff like that in.
Sounds nice, howvere, I don't think they replace the horse as much as they do the donkey, so might as well give donkeys and mules a speed boost on flat terrain, but llamas go slower, and treat regular blocks as slabs. And don't give them so much health, please. Otherwise, Support.
This would make pigs even more useless. It even would for horses, because llamas drops meat too. No Support.
I know llamas no longer drop meat, but have you considered that it isn't new mobs that need a nerf, it's more like the pig needs a buff. Pigs have good sense of smell. Maybe something related to that.
Sounds nice, to be honest I'm not so worried, about pufferfish as they already have a use. I wouldn't mind this being implemented, but I'm more concerned about the completely useless poisonous potatoes.
Everything looks good, but how long would a splash potion "contaminate an area"? In addition, could you put positive potion effects too? And if so, would these still damage the receiver?
How about we alter extreme hills a bit, and put increase the number of variations to 13? there a re currently 4, Extreme hills, Extreme hills M, Extreme hills + and extreme hills M +. Now, we could Extreme me hills+ could have 3 versions: Cold which is how it is now, Snow -covered which increases spawn of spruce trees, and all is snow-covered, medium, which replaces some spruces, with oaks, and snow appears a bit higher up on the y at y=110. This variant would not have a hot version. reg. extreme hills would only have 2 versions: Cold, which is how it is now, and medium, with snow appearing at y=135. Extreme hills M would be what it is now as cold, snow covered, which is the same as it is currently but with snow everywhere. Medium would have snow appear at y=135. Hot version wouldn't have snow and grass would be a bout desert/savannah colored. The grass would appear only at the bottom, up it's pure stone. (A browner stone variant would be good for this, and minimal amount of gravel.) Extreme hills +M would be the same as with Extreme hills M, but with trees, and no hot version.
Berylium in real life is used for protecting cables and stuff, as it is extremely protective against the elements. It is also used in space shuttle parts, plane parts and satellites. I think that something along these lines would be better, but of course, the community doesn't like the idea of anything 18th century and up in Minecraft, which is a shame.
Quite an underestimate it is. I believe that the wiki gives the player too much information, and when they play minecraft there are no suprises. A built in recipe guide gives enough information for a play to craft a compass, but not enough so they know how long it takes to die in the void. I have seen examples where players have given up on minecraft because they can't craft. Why scour the internet for let's plays when it can all be in one place.
You have a point there, however, If it must be that way, then I'd like it to require some effort on the players part.
Minecraft is not fun when it takes hours for you to figure out how to make a shovel. Its better to be hand fed than having to kill to get food. Only a handful of people know about the wiki.
Handful? That's quite underestimating. And even if that were true, more people have seen Minecraft let's play's then have played the actual game.
I can see the healing part being abused in multiplayer, especially with diamond sets. As for pitting mobs against each other, that could have some serious balance issues, especially with witches, Wither's and blazes. I honestly think that the uses should be limited.
I remember this from a couple of months. Took a little bit, but at least it didn't take as long as the ssswariorcats on Youtube. I waited a couple of years for that! Still, both are good shows.

I have a horrid internet connection, and I still can do things fine. Why? Because I have enough patience to wait a minute and a half.
