I install per the instructions and get to the world load/generate screen and then try to either create a new world or open an existing one and the game crashes. If I take codechicken core and NEI out of the folder it works fine. I don't know what to do to make it work. Have tried a fresh install of minecraft and putting it in first after Forge. HELP!

I've been playing since 1.7.3 and enjoy unusual builds like airplanes, blimps, jungle temples, and building/improving villages into cities. Redstone hobbyist, can do stuff like mono stables, edge triggers, logic gates, flip-flops, timers, etc. On many of the servers I've tried, the admins get bored and torment the players, if this is you, please don't bother to whitelist me, otherwise, I would like to join.
love the mod, but after i looked at the .cfg file it stopped working. didnt change anything, just looked and didn't save. opened it with notepad. is there a way to fix it? I'm not even sure what I did to break it...
I think they will eventually divide the map into 3 parts, bottom 64 will be nether, no portal needed, 65-192 will be normal, and 193+ could be aether or end, all in the same map. Epic. Instead of clouds, endstone islands. Then portals could do what portals were really meany to do, teleport you from location to location on the map!
I have a pen full of naked sheep, they are all so ashamed! They have been ther for minecraft months and are well within range of my base (chunk wise, because when I make babies, they grow up while I am working on my house). Would like to have a pen for each color and breed for decoration, but I can't. I'm so sad....
My block swapper to turn on/off my spawner traps don't work anymore because the signal won't pass thru glow stone any more. Found a workaround for now, but it is much bigger. What other toys has this change broken?

See a baby animal (or a full cow/sheep/pig) magically appearing you can explain away with a simple "well thats just how things work" or the likes.
The egg, the egg is like a land mine, it sets you up for an unpleasant conversation in the not too distant future. Whenever it is that your child is informed that cows don't come from eggs (I do not think that's going to take long). Now you have a perplexed child who is asking you about cows and why it is they don't come from eggs.

Yeah that's how genetics work, but applying black ink to a sheep doesn't actually change their DNA :tongue.gif:
They could very well just do it anyway in Minecraft but then there wouldn't be much point in finding dyes at all.
Gotta find the dyes to do the initial coloring, also, some dyes are ridiculously rare (cocoa beans) so an easy way to get brown wool would be great. As to genetics, it is only a game, and the code that speccifies color could be considered the sheeps "genetic code", which change when you dye them. Eggs are fine, color as a passable trait is fine, it is a game, after all, let's be creative, it's what MC is all about!
Wool regrowth has been confirmed as a planned feature, the color thing wouldn't really make sense to me but I've never seen it mentioned by Notch or Jeb

Would be neat if you could craft passive spawners in game. Make the items to do it adventure goals, "you must go to the stronghold and retrieve the boar's tooth my son or the village will starve.". Then use it in a crafting recipe or the npc crafts it for you.
I hope sheep can pass the wool color on to their babies/eggs/whatever. Would be cool to breed sheep colors, just hope, with the new mob persistence, that they also regrow their wool over time.
