I really would love Mojang to implement "sunken ships" akin to abandoned mineshafts, complete with loot chests, new "prefix mobs" (such as Shipwrecked Zombie), and maybe masts made out of wood and wool petruding from the ship. Just my two cents, though.
Configurable glowstone would be a block type with a similar (preferably more refined look) texture to the original glowstone texture. When you place it, it will not shine at all, but when you hook it up to a posibive redstone chain, it starts to glow. Now I know that when not glowing, monsters would be able to spawn, but to counter this, maybe two separate light values could be coded for, the light that you see, and 'fake light', that is coded for, but invisible. When inactive configurable glowstone is placed, fake light is created, so that no monsters could spawn in a room where it is placed, however, you won't be able to see light. This would be neat for almost all houses, as people would start designing light switches, which would make houses seem more real. It could also aid in adventure maps that are dark, and do not want monsters to spawn.
The recipe for it is unimportant, but two that I thought of were...
red wool=redstone
yellow wool=glowstone block
glass=nothing
I've tested it a few more times, and it seems I crash when I get out of bed, and also when I acquire an item from the crafting table (ie: take sticks from the bench after putting 2 wood planks in).
Not sure if there are other ways to crash, but these are the two I investigated.

Sounds neat, especially if it became a boss mob of sorts. @_@
And yay for ideas that make boats worth using each time you cross an ocean.

Brool story, co.
Also, the game does in fact freeze when I try to right click, but I can freely left click.
Odd. I guess a lot of things are glitched.

Alright, I guess it's good that I'm not the only one with the problem.

My SMP server is down until Bukkit is updated.
