The author claimed to be working on a Linux version of the mod. Mind, that was over two years ago. I guess I'll just stick to other modpacks. Thank you for looking into it, though. I appreciate the help.

No, not in Vanilla or any other Modpack. It's got something to do with that particular mod being OS specific, something I've never heard done before. I did a bit of looking and the author was going to release a Linux version, which I can't find. I was hoping simply removing the mod would solve the issue, but the pack seems to not want it taken away.

Out of curiosity, was this ever compiled for Linux? I'm trying to run TrollCraft, but it keeps crashing out. I'm guessing its because the mod isn't working with my OS... I must say that's a strange phrase to be typing.

    Hello!

I noticed that Trollcraft finally went public, so I had to try it. However, when it starts downloading for "Minecraft ChromiumEF" it crashes. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, have you found a solution?

Here's the crash log for those into that thing: http://paste.atlauncher.com/view/0ec585dc

    Thank you in advance!

posted a message on [SOLVED] LWJGL Issues

It could have happened several days ago when I pushed Ubuntu to 17.04, but Minecraft was working just fine afterward. I know there was a code update to Linux when I upgraded. Maybe it had a delayed reaction, or just the right amount of wrong occurred. Either way, all better! Now, back to Sky Factory 3! :pigout: by MineWarCrafter

So, apparently that specific version of the driver 375.66 has had issues on Windows machines and they released a hotfix for it. It was a problem specifically for Java based games like Minecraft. Instead of reverting back, I pushed forward into the 381 branch. It involved adding a new PPA, but I am ok with that. I pushed it to 381.22 and now it is working fine. I can't thank you enough for kicking my brain on, though. I don't tinker with the Linux of things very often. I'm very "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." Seriously, thank you for the help! Is there a +1 or gold or something I can do on here for you? Either way, thank you!!

Thanks for the response. Yeah, it looks like I'm using 375.66, the latest "stable" driver. What has left me confused is that everything was working just fine yesterday and no updates have been posted since before then. I can make an attempt at reverting back to an older version, but it always takes a bit of time. As I'm running Linux, I haven't found a very efficient way to do so yet. I'll do my best and post back. Thanks again Herb_. I always appreciate a helping hand.

posted a message on [SOLVED] LWJGL Issues

    Hello!

I have been playing modded Minecraft for what seems like years and have not run into this problem before. Regardless of which launcher I use, I pop an LWJGL error. This only started today, and I can't see that I've done anything different than normal.

Here is a link to the crash report (I think): http://paste.atlauncher.com/view/af173dd1

I can't seem to sort out much of what it says, but, the red areas are about Pixel format, LWJGL errors, and OpenGL context. I've looked around on the great Google, but nothing seems to work. This is a persistant error across ATLauncher, MultiMC, and Technic. I'm running the latest driver for my video card (NVIDIA GTX 970), my OS is up to date, and I'm current on Java. Please help me sort this out. Thank you!

I recently downloaded the CoupleCraft 2 modpack to do some exploring and such before bringing in the other half to see if we can get along in a game. I enjoy the mod, but I really missed Foundry's refractory hopper, so I added it and its dependency. Before adding the mods, everything was fine. After, I receive the following crashlog:

I know I could simply remove the offending mod, and all would be well, but I'd like to know what is causing the problem and if it can be resolved. Thank you for your time, and checking out my inquiry.
