The drop rates for endermen are low, and it is supposed to be difficult to hit them with a bow. When they teleport away from you they could either have gone into water, or maybe a cave below. The only problem I actually see in your post is them not being aggressive after looking at them, which is easily fixed with a swing of the sword.
That will take a lot of diamond pickaxes, not been able to work out the enchanting table yet though some times it does unbreakable, sometimes efficiency and sometimes both not sure how to get them level 3 either only managed up to 1 so far but been trying it with stone pickaxes
The higher level you put into the enchantment, the higher the chance you have for more and better enchantments, so try atleast lvl 20 i would say
i didn't think they would survive the nether but i just tried it. awesome. there were maybe half a dozen blazes and my snowmen dropped pretty quick but if i encase the blaze spawn in cobblestone to keep them from flying and force them through a bottle neck I can see this being very practical. a few pill boxes for the snow golems and im golden. blaze rods can be used for furnace fuel also so that's a double bonus and snow golems use renewable resources so they are unlimited. plus i don't need them to kill all the blazes but wounding them when there are several attackers is great.
edit: snow golems also shoot at a zombie pigman so watch out for turning pigmen hostile.
I believe in an update or so it will be changed so that snow golems will melt in the nether, so use it while it lasts!
no mate, you don't understand me and the rest of the people who want bigger worlds. I don't like to play on a PC. Playing on PC is crap if you ain't got good equipment and just uncomfortable furniture. Playing in the living room is why I love consoles.
Actually, I think the Xbox version is the better one for me, because it's easier and better to play, but I still miss some features....
Asking for a feature means not running against a brick wall. It's just a wish from the community.
You need to respect this, as I respect your opinion.
I know the Xbox is limited, it's just a pretty ancient kind of thing nowadays, but it's possible to offer bigger world. It hasn't to be endless, but a little bigger would be great.
Tell me, why Indie game developers are able to find ways to offer these vast worlds? And 4J can't do anything? Man, that's quite hard to understand......
I will continue to play MC, because it's a great game so far, but hey, it's an ongoing project and 4J expect to get feedback from the community.
There will be many new features coming in the future and who knows, maybe someday a slightly bigger world.
See ya,
Goover
One of the major limiting factors right now is that 4j wants to keep to 60fps and 4-player split screen. Without these I believe a bit more could be pushed out of the 360, but these features are here to stay
Ok after reading that wiki it seems it wouldn't be useful in a survival.
But is it gonna be an option? Well Im pretty sure know one knows that yet.
Only reason i ask if its gonna be an Option is becasue iv'e seen people with
-Lava blocks
-Water blocks
-Bedrock
-Golden apples
-and monster spawners
Now as cool as that is to have, i know its cheating and will get you banned. But do you think that it will work for people with fire blocks?
If and when trading with villagers is added you will be able to get chain armor in a survival map without creative or mods
No because of the exact reason you stated. Yes some games have massive open worlds, but none are randomly generated and almost infinite. The way minecraft handles this generation is just way to much for a 360, although if they make a version for the next generation xbox it might be possible
Yes, same issue XBOX360 . We went to the Nether several times then it locked up. We usually play 1-3 players. The entire screen freezes and all functions lock, the only way to reset it is unplug the Xbox. I hope they fix this soon. We tried going in alone, then with 2, then 3 , it's locked completely now. It's very frustrating because we were looking forward to it, now we are completely shut out of the World.
Have you been keeping minecraft updated? Patches have fixed this issue.
Launch Minecraft, go into creative mode, and press the D-pad buttons.
And instead of OP's solution for simplified redstone, they should just add craftable redstone wires, like they have in the Red Power mods. Different colored wires will not connect to each other, allowing for compact serial busing and such. Make's much more sense than pressing the D-pad to indicate direction. Better yet, 4J could release a full DLC similar to Red Power, I would definitely pay for it.
That is an amazing idea! It would make complicated redstone machines so much more condensed and organized
Most if not all of these have been suggested in different threads, although you organized and presented them better than most. Many of the things you suggested have been implemented or something similar has been implemented in the PC version giving us a high chance of getting them, we'll just have to wait and see what 4j decides.
Scuba gear= enchanted helmet
Horse= pig with carrot on a stick
Blocks are rotatable in the 1.2.3 update
Saddles are craft able in PC
I've noticed that mushrooms grow slower after the last update. I have a room in a mushroom biome that only gets light when I come in to check growth, and I can only get one mushroom to grow after about 5 game days
