A video I took of a Minecraft Alpha 1.1.2_01 back in December 2011 (I had used MC nostalgia at that time). It's just amazing how every couple of worlds, this stuff would happen. People all praise the 1.7.3 terrain, but I love me some green grass alpha.

I love Alpha, but even Alpha gameplay gets dull when you have played the game for well over 1.5 years. It (was) a 15$, and xfire has tracked 780 hours of time playing minecraft. That ratio is epic; CoD players spend 60-70 for less than a year of gameplay. So I knew it was a matter of time before I got completely tired of MC. I'll keep checking up on this forum for some time though.
That's why Elusive is the OP now. I could have just left the mod to me, but maintaining a main post for a mod for a game that I don't enjoy any longer is a bad idea.
Thanks for the offer though.

Nope. It was me that is dead.
That's why I am giving the dev who has been most active the OP, since I have completely lost my interest in Minecraft, and therefore leading development of the mod.

Erm, Alpha 1.1.2_01 was actually the last world you could get snow worlds. 1.2.0 and on including 1.2.3 could not generate snow worlds at all.
If it is snow biomes you are talking about, then A1.2.3 is nearly identical to the Beta 1.1_02 option which is what you want.

The double cacti bug was actually a vanilla minecraft bug, but very very rare. Cool that you found them.
And yes, the intention is for the structures and things to be able to be put in past generators by a toggle at world creation.
Nether is unchanged.

They are everywhere, especially below level 32.

Now that is an intended feature present since Infdev.

Yep I had that idea for months. The practicality of actually getting Indev's and Classic's source code is very hard, and it would have to be heavily rewritten as it's finite terrain.
I've been Skiing last weekend, finishing exams this week, and performing at the All-District 2 Honor Band this weekend. I'm back now.

I HIGHLY doubt that multiplayer servers will be cross-platform. Doing so is a technological feat; I was surprised that the Pocket Edition could do so with other phones.
Nevermind, I just remembered that the PC version is written in Java, and that the xbox version is written in a variant of C I belive, so cross-platform multiplayer is virtually impossible. No need to worry.
