Yeah, the animation was nice, and yeah, it was different from pretty much anything on the market, but the art style is bland, the characters as far as I saw were either completely wooden or completely psychotic, and the writing for it isn't all that great, in terms of both (lack of) plot and (non-realistic) conversations.
I'm not trying to troll or anything, but I really feel like everyone's yanking my chain and hiding the real show from me while they show some Care Bears rip-off.
Oh, and Cree Summers isn't in it.
I watched the pilots and the episode where they throw a surprise party for who-zit-again and she goes crazy wondering what's going on and I'd have to say I wasn't too impressed.
There is nothing wrong with improvement :|
I realize their games are great by their mechanics. I realize they look good. But imagine if they looked absolutely amazing and had the game play elements they have now. Knowing valve they probably could still make it run on a PoTaToS
No, they couldn't.
Graphics can be very intensive, especially stuff like dynamic lighting and water.
Add to that the fact that Valve is moving more towards multi-player gaming, and dynamic lighting at least is completely thrown out the ****ing window.
I'm upset because there is un-used potential in their engine, and they don't step it up to be more modern, which they're clearly capable of. Portal 2 at one point had dynamic lighting and foliage (models), but it was removed out and put back in as a video instead of actual usable game files. (The ending credits outdoor portion)
Yes, because they felt that they didn't need it and it would only hamper the game.
Visuals aren't everything.
If something can look great and still run on ****ing cardboard boxes and macaroni, then it's better than something with Crysis-level STUNNING GRAPHICS.
So, wait.
You're telling me you're upset at Valve and their game engine for not having day/night cycles and dynamic weather?
That's like saying you dislike Pokemon because it doesn't include first-person features.
Its far more articulate than sources. Also some of the other not so popular ones that I forgot to name :
Water :
Bioshock | 2
Hydrophobia
Minecraft (Well, game is popular but has inaccurate water physics, has them non the less)
Lighting :
GTA (3 and up all had day/night systems)
Most MMO|RPG's (Oblivion, Divinity, Dragon Age, other MMO's) have Day/night systems and dynamic shadows
Unreal engine
Source games don't use day/night cycles because they're ****ING FIRST-PERSON SHOOTERS.
Honestly, from my perspective, The Goonies is the saddest movie I've ever seen, mainly because I've been in that position where I've had to say goodbye to the people and places I've known and loved.

Sorry to insult God in the house of the Pope, but I don't really like Lauren Faust.

I'm usually on a private forum of thirty, and even there, the second biggest thread is probably the MLP one.

I'm good.
I'm fairly sure if I heard that theme one more time I'd kill my undead baby sister.

I don't why the hell it works, but I can tell you for a fact that it does.

Wait... you're telling me that Call of Duty has full water physics?

The AI from L4D is just a stroke of genius.
