    I need some help. I just set up server and it works but it kicks everyone, literally. It's a Multicraft server and after something around 3 hours of looking for any help with that issue over internet I concluded I should change my server Default role to user. But joke is there's no Default role where I would expect it to be.

    Should I contact with my host space provider to fix that issue or there's something I overlooked?

    Second: Mod in THIS version is dead. Go check link to this mod under new development.

    Third: It's really stupid idea to download anything that's nto from here or curse. Mostly they throw whatever they have and just add numbers to make it look like it's compatibile with new Minecraft versions.

    I was wondering... What about a config setting to make if any stone actually shows? Or how deep the top layer(default minecraft:dirt) is? I want to set it to something similar to Crash Landing Modpack, but with a more harsher twist. I've got most of the light pack down... But I really don't want just 1 layer of exnihilo:dust just there. More like 3-6 layers of it.


    I would love setting like that. I made small modpack that had food dificult to find and all, but with dirt it wasn't that much hard to finally get grass and soon have enough food to exist and to get trees and all. Having 3-6 layers of sand/snow/dust would be perfect.

    Kinda delayed response but I didn't checked this topic in a while. I used both Flan's guns and vehicles in my Wastland game and only vehicles for some reasons caused crahs without report. Guns worked just fine, also uniforms were all working.

    Some suggestions:

    * City sewers? I know there's city mods out there with sewers. This might be a good place for tons of mobs, some more loot, or maybe rare grass growing under the city that could be harvested with silk touch, or possibly water now and again.

    * Other survivors. I'd suggest a travelling hermit that trades things, maybe melon/pumpkin seeds or potatoes/carrots, or other hard-to-get items. Also possible might be hostile bands of 2-3 bandits, maybe on horseback, and armored. Perhaps you could steal their horse, or take it if you manage to kill them. Small groups or solo looters, too, in cities or ruins, might be fun, or even hermit holdouts holing up in villages or towns, perhaps varying between trader and hostile at random (per NPC).

    * Recipes: the ability to change zombie flesh into leather. The ability to somehow purify radioactive yuck into water, maybe? I like the water how it is though.

    * An option to remove all placed mob spawners? Or would this destroy dungeons, too? Even so maybe it could be an option; the immersion of this mob is great but running into spawners everywhere in the city killed it for me. Sorry if this is already an option, see next:

    * I can't find a config file; I also couldn't see the location listed anywhere! Maybe make it easier to find or make the directions more obvious if there are any!

    * Maybe a way to get livestock & sugar canes. Ofc extremely rare--maybe sometimes 1 single surviving sheep, pig, cow or rabbit later on) inside a pen? I do have eggs from chickens, but they're useless without sugar/milk!


    I use the backpack mod with this one, and it's a really fun experience. Highly recommended mod!


    --Oh, one other thing, for people who are interested; it's possible to start a world with this mod, run or fly around and generate a ton of wasteland terrain, cities, towns etc, then close Minecraft, turn off the mod, and load it as a regular game. There's a dropoff between the regular world and the wasteland one, but it's pretty cool to have a huge wasteland area with the grass slowly encroaching and wilderness outside of it! You'll just lose the radioactive stuff :)


    I like some of your suggestions. They are really good, also I would actually add add some biomes like radioactive ocean that would have a change to be generated not less than 1000 blocks from spawn, and maybe radioactive swamp? A lot of radioactive goo instead of water but there be slimes like in normal swamps, and maybe some new mob, radioactive slime?
    I think there is way to check id of block and you could add to loot chest as a very rare type grass block. And of course in spawn config file you can change spawn of animals, in your case add them. You can find that file in config folder in your minecraft folder, and there will be Wasteland folder, inside is CreatureSpawns file.
    Wandering trader is achievable via mod primitive mobs, but it have separate spawn config you need to tweak a little before going to wasteland mod's config and set where new mobs should spawn or shouldn't.

    You can make it so animals will show up. Use config in this mod, it's name is CreatureSpawns. How to use it should be explained inside, but you still have to play a bit to make all spawns work like you want to.

    I think i know that error, got it too when I forgot to add library file that was required.

    I looked at your crash report and noticed you have a lot of mods, maybe easiest way will be cheeking if they don't require additional library file. If it's modpack there should be some credits with links to forum posts/sites of mods authors. Just look it up and check if there is said that something is required. One mod won't work and just not show on your server, other will cause crash.

    I had it solved for almost week, all I had to do was to upload previously generated world and it worked. Actual minor problem is temporary memory being full, but that's nothing I can fix myself that's something that host provider have to look into.

    Sadly Wasteland is necessary to make Fallout-ish server. But! Someone already posted what can cause same problem that I got and I hope mod author will look into it and maybe soon there be fixed version of said mod.



    Thanks for concern! I'm too old and have too much of my own mind to blindly follow what some people say on forum :) Especially if you see everywhere where your Minecraft folder is.

    I wouldn't agree with that statement. Tested myself it worked with Java 8, though might be short period of time. I did worked, now it sadly doesn't. Only thing that bothers me that right now on my private Pc with Java 7 world generator doesn't work and throws at me java error. But when I load previously generated world it's all fine, maybe some errors appears but I guess it's more because of other mods and missing items (which should be kinda easy to fix) then world generator.

    Just letting you know that I wanted this mod before you began to develop it, yet it was kinda of plain. I accidentally checked that it's updated and have to admit, I got excited, like kid getting new toy. Keep up good work!

    Was running hosted server for week or so when suddenly after deleting one mod I got server crash. For some time it was alright when I run that world on private PC (server and single), but when I tried to generate world from scratch I got error, both server and single gives same error. I already know it's something with world generator, because all mods works fine when I don't use Wasteland world generator, problem starts while using it. Probably same thing happened after deleting mod and when server had to replace some blocks and generated them.

    I just can't think of any solution to this.

    Just really quick question. I admit, I'm beginner if it comes to servers, so far i run them on my Pc. Now I plan to make bigger one and just wondering do Forge Essentials have options like making certain zone be like Adventure mode- no block breaking, but can interact with chests and levers?
