    Oh nice, backwards compatibility
    And slime boots was a bad idea, I just realized that after I posted XD
    How about companion tools XD they make adorable wolf sounds when used and occasionally give you dung and they will bark when something is nearby, like a creeper or some ores depending on which tool they are
    But they have bad durability probably around wood or stone but are as good as stone or iron
    Now that would be hilarious
    And another idea that's a little weird but at a cost of some durability it'll spawn a poisoned silverfish to dig out some stone blocks, this would be a great time to use your pest killing doggy, or maybe the tool prevents more silverfish spawning

    I don't know but those are my suggestions for now, and again it's a great and funny mod
    (in case anyone was wondering I am a btw and mc forum lurker, I really should actually post sonething more often XD)

    And yet another awesome BTW addon, and not only awesome but hilarious as well, great job Raust and Panda, I can't wait to see what humorous items are next
    Two questions, is the cake sword edible? And what version of btw is this for?
    One suggestion: SlimeSteel boots, you take no fall damage, but under on condition, you bounce back up at about 90-50% of the fall height and intone bouncing like that, it would be perfect for windzooka jumping :D

    Well looks like most of my ideas were already thought of, but im glad you like some of them, on the plant idea, I was thinking of how NASA was going to use hydroponics to grow plants on mars, and how other planets wouldn't have the same type or amount of sunlight and thus would require artificial sunlight that requires low but constant power, and system would make it so every plant animal etc would be somewhat different, it would make more of an ecosyste, I got the idea mostly from an iPhone game I read about called Waking Mars, I'm not saying to copy it but something similar would be very cool in my opinion
    But whatever you guys code I'm sure will be awesome, the concepts and world design screenshots look awesome

    Wow this looks like an epic idea, your art and concepts are very good, I'd love to see this be made as well as help test it if possible
    My 3 suggestions:
    Overworld and some otherworld plants require a machine to grow, like a solar emitter and/or some sor of planter

    A "system" regarding plants, mobs and a maybe even ores, tools, shaker liquid combos, and things discovered in the analyzer that will give them unique traits, this system could be similar to industrial craft's system and atomicstryker's infernal mobs, this would add variety to the world and make more of an alien ecosystem

    Maybe a goal to fix the ship and return home, but the parts would require advanced items and maybe even A few boss fights and dungeons to get the parts

    And this is more of a question, will other planets ever be added?


    Anyways great job so far, the concept is epic!

    Hey, I still give you props for trying to update the aether because it truly is an epic mod, but I checked the aether Facebook page which someone posted on this thread and apparently a couple hours ago they posted they are still working on aether 2 and are in the process of updating the first, (not trying to be a buzz kill here, I still think you've done a great job at updating the mod, but they decided to finally do it themselves apparently)

    EDIT: this actually reminds me of thaumcraft 2 a little bit, azanor releasing only little teasers and keeping everything else secret, and the mod in question looks awesome :D

    Ah thank you, and tfcraft is compatible to an extent i believe, they use forge so ore dictionary should kick in
    and tfcraft has convenient "tfcraft to vanilla" recipes for the purpose of using it with other mods

    now, to figure out how to make forge load mods in a different order to prevent autoassign problems

    Hey i need some help installing redpower
    im trying to get it to work with several other mods so i tried turning on autoAssign to fix id conflicts, i set the number from 0 to 1 and ran minecraft, it gave me a black screen and i closed minecraft, checked the config, lo and behold it changed the autoassign back to 0, every other change i made in the config was untouched and hadnt changed, it was only the autoassign option that was changed
    can someone please help me

    it worked once but redpower world was being derpy with the other mods i was trying to use, only generating 1 to maybe 8 basalt big volcanoes EVERYWHERE with a few blocks of lava

    PS im trying to make it work with smart moving, terrafirmacraft, animal bikes, mob amputation, and paintball mod if i remember correctly

    Well as soon as the Secret is out there is a VAST amount of work to be done still :P

    The Alpha though is a "hopefully" this week, so don't be disappointed if it is not, but It should be as soon as the world gen code is ready, Im trying to use the more Long term method here so it could take longer than; Youtube it, Get the answer, Bam works for 3 days :P

    Honestly I think it's better that your trying to do this on your own and being original, thats what makes certain mods stand out against others
    And no problem about the release, stuff (specifically coding) takes time, my biggest pet peeve is when people beg/demand/etc for modders to update (suggesting ideas and helpful criticism are mostly good though)
    So take your time, don't rush, just keep up the good work :D

    Ah sorry about xychorium i misread it. thats awesome that a alpha release will be up this week, and dont worry about too many features, its really early alpha anyways
    and if your interested i believe there is an electricity API called universal electricity which might help (not really trying to advertise and/or say your a bad coder, im just saying in case it actually would help in any way shape or form)

    oh and your secret to being original tech mod, it intrigues me, well everything in your mod intrigues me because i dont even know what you have planned :P
