I am a guy who loves helping out the community and likes to help in a lot of things. If I would be invited, I would start a settlement, a government, pretty much a new town with other players in it, and making it an enjoyable scene for everyone!

It's insane! You give this guy much less credit than he deserves. I've taken a look at the source code, and it's neatly organized. Some parts of the code is recognizably inspired by Notch's various Ludum Dare entries, intermixed with his own code.
