Save or it doesnt happen (?) xD

    sorry, but it doesn't happen.

The savefile is almost 4 GB, and just viewing the cartograph will give you a BSoD.

    Sorry!
But we still do have free tours, and you can see everything with your own eyes - and you can apply to be a member and stay in the city, socialize with other members, and help build the latest megaprojects.

Joindate (when you bought Minecraft): I bought MC today, but I've been playing a pirate version since the Halloween Update in Alpha. Yes, I know - finally saw the error of my ways and all that cal.

Your Talents (architect? engineer? programmer? no talent?): I wouldn't say I'm especially talented at anything - I've never undertaken any mega-projects or built anything anywhere near the standard of this server, but I can knock together a reasonable temple with a couple of turrets and a dome if I want.
Age: 16 - 17 in exactly one month

Info about Yourself (real life and minecraft): In real life, I'm pretty bookish, with a liking for victorian clothing and 'hipster' music - don't judge me. I'm very interested in historical architecture, even if I can't design or build my own structres. I'm studying AS Level English, History, Computing and Biology and I'm not really sure what the purpose of this box is.

Why do you think you would be a great member?: I'm reasonably mature, good humoured and I enjoy helping out.

Strong Points (architecture, art, social activity): Tend to get along with most people well, relatively experienced with MC, have neither an active social life nor boyfriend to distract from nerd-dom.

Weak Points (making friends, programming, being dedicated): Unlikely to be very dedicated to the server, mildly forgetful, may attempt to correct your grammar.

EDIT: Here's a screenshot of a build I've just started on:

You seem like a lovely person to have around, bluejay.

You're accepted into Styx Reborn, congratulations!

However, the server will be down for the next 10 minutes for maintenance - it'll be back up soon.

I started no such conversation. In fact, I mentioned nothing whatsoever about the voxelbox or any of our members, or anything related to it, until you guys brought it up. Feel free to check the chat logs.

In fact, I don't even know how you recognized me as a voxel member. Apparently, someone on your server has all our players memorized or on some list, and checks all new logons against said list, then goes out of their way to identify us and say things like "we don't want your kind here," with no provocation.

If you don't want to talk about other servers, perhaps you should not initiate conversations about other servers. And if you want nice people to hang around, perhaps you should not throw prejudiced slurs at them for no reason and make up stories about how it was all their fault.

If you want to unban me, though, go for it. Hopefully, this was just one bad apple, and there will be cool things to swing by and see in the future.

    A few things.
1: I got all of my information from jok3r, as I haven't been on the server all day until right now. He's the one who explained the situation to me, so I apologize for any false facts I might've gotten. Not sure why I'm apologizing, but, anyway,
2: I've talked to jok3r about these things, and I - and no other admin/member - had any part of it. If you want to insult anyone, it's not me.

    EDIT:
I'm talking to jok3r right now, and he does definitely NOT speak for the whole server. This was one big misunderstanding and he definitely said some things he shouldn't have.

This was one big misunderstanding, and we welcome you back to the server any time as we've unbanned you.

    Hi, manager of the server.
Everyone here apologizes for any misunderstanding and you can go on the forums to appeal your ban, you seem like a nice person to have around.

It's just Styx has a bit of a bad past with voxelbox and starting discussion about such events, especially when asked to stop, can be taken as offensive by some of our admins.

    Sorry for any inconveniences.

EDIT: I may as well just give you the link for the site that I'm getting all of these from. It's great, they've filtered all of the unfunny ones out, and put all of the best on one page in a huge list. Makes for a great read. Enjoy!

I went to that website, but the images discouraged me from reading more than one paragraph.

I read the TF2 one, and it was actually pretty cool, but it got a bit cheesy near the end.

HOWEVER, it inspired me to write my own creepypasta based on a VALVe game. Maybe a hidden area of Portal 2.

If anyone wants to help me write it, please toss me a PM, or add me on STEAM and start chatting! thanks you all.

This one is similar to Portraits, and is my personal favourite creepypasta (with Portraits coming in second):

    The Other Watcher

A man went to a hotel and walked up to the front desk to check in. The woman at the desk gave him his key and told him that on the way to his room, there was a door with no number that was locked and no one was allowed in there. She explained that it was a storeroom, and that it was out of bounds. She reminded him of this several times before allowing him upstairs. So he followed the instructions of the woman at the front desk, going straight to his room, and going to bed. However the insistence of the woman had piqued his curiosity, so the next night he walked down the hall to the door and tried the handle. Sure enough it was locked. He bent down and looked through the wide keyhole. Cold air passed through it, chilling his eye.

What he saw was a hotel bedroom, like his, and in the corner was a woman whose skin was incredibly pale. She was leaning her head against the wall, facing away from the door. He stared in confusion for a while, was this a celebrity? The owners daughter? He almost knocked on the door, out of curiosity, but decided not to. As he was still looking, the woman turned sharply and he jumped back from the door, hoping she would not suspect he had been spying on her. He crept away from the door and walked back to his room. The next day, he returned to the door and looked through the wide keyhole. This time, all he saw was redness. He couldn't make anything out besides a distinct red color, unmoving. Perhaps the inhabitants of the room knew he was spying the night before, and had blocked the keyhole with something red. He felt embarrassed that he had made the woman so uncomfortable, and hoped she had not made a complaint with the woman on the front desk.

At this point he decided to consult her for more information. After some gentle quizzing and the promise that the explanation would go no further than him she finally said "Well, I might as well tell you the story of what happened in that room. A long time ago, a man murdered his wife in there, we find that even now, people get uncomfortable staying there. But these people were not ordinary. They were white all over, except for their eyes, which were red."

I've heard that one before, but you get the idea of what I'm looking for. That was an awesome story.
    Any more like it?

Russian Sleep Experiment was actually pretty cool, but a bit gory. The one with the woman and the butcher in WWII was cool.

the one with the reflection of the killer was shocking.

I don't like shocker stories. It's bad for my heart.

Can anyone link me to some short stories like "Portraits & The Cabin" that make you go "Woah" at the end but not make you scared shitless? I'd appreciate you.

I don't know if this is a national franchise, but there's a pizza place all over where I live called Mellow Mushroom. It's a pizza place with made-to-order pizzas, and it's supposed to have a free-spirited "hippy" vibe. Honestly, I would be excited to get an order of their bread. Everything they make is great, especially the kinds of pizza you wouldn't expect to be great.

That sounds nice. You live near Colorado?

Amazing World of Gumball is...okay. Not fond of the random vomit and fart jokes, but I like the art style of putting cartoon characters against real pictures, then making different characters have different animation styles. One character is a stop-motion painted origami person, while another is 3D animation, while another is a photoshopped picture of an animal to make its face move. Pretty interesting.

I think Problem Solverz is trying to use a new "style" of comedy - being so purposely flat and crappy it's supposed to be funny. Maybe.

    +Optimism.

Problem Solverz definitely is NOT the worst thing I've ever seen on Kid's TV, dare I question myself why I watch it in the first place.

Doesn't compare to Fanchum and Chumboy at all, though. It's just...aidajda.

What do you guys think of that "The Looney Tunes Show" that premiered a few days ago? I had to babysit my little brother for the night and he turned it on... It isn't all too terrible, but I might just be desensitized because I was "double dog dared" to watch ONLY Playhouse Disney for 2 weeks.
