No i did read the entire thread and i still stand that this is a completely retarded idea. even at a 15 block radius it is still extremely over powered.
minecraft doesnt need voice acting. its just another things that would have chances of bugging out and causing problems. as far as on servers so thats just down right stupid. the more crap that the server needs to sent out will just lag the game even more. i dont care if there is an option for turning it on and off. no support at all
50 blocks are you freaking retarded. Thats alittle over a 3 chunk area. with the distance that it not even a real life pineapple grenade has that kinda of range. well you would want a texture for a device and the interface for said device right? maybe 2 devices one for displaying the values of the tree and another for cross breeding the tree.

Here's what looks like a smaller way of doing it. The repeaters are a higher level than the torches though so it's probably a bit harder to hide. Depends on the conditions of what you're building I guess.
I'm not saying my way is better. In fact it could be worse. Its just the way I thought of when reading through the topic and the problem at hand(even if it is already solved )
Edit: Its the same on the other side. And I'm pretty sure if you don't even bother with the redstone it still works. But with the redstone you can walk on just one and both still open.
I also didn't see him mention he absolutely needed pistons and levers used. If he does require a lever then the other way is probably a lot better.
Edit2: My way is actually a fail in my opinion. Just realized it. If you step on just one pressure play one door opens quicker than the other. And that bothers the crap out of me

i dont think the contests should be stuff like mods or texture packs, instead it should be stuff that is done in minecraft such as themed builds or redstone creations, i think more people will participate if it is something every one can do. not every one can program or is good at art
