Can you update this for 1.12.2? I want an OP sword that can troll others on 1.12.2.

1.12.2 has been out for a long time, I just forgot to update the forum post.

posted a message on Bulk Json Generator

With 1.12 here, I thought this was the perfect time to finally make a json generator.

I did not make the generator have a gui - because I didn't want to. The main Idea was that you would be able to generate tons of files in seconds.

    The generator can currently generate:

    • Normal Items
    • Handheld Items (Swords, Tools)
    • Normal Blocks
    • Orientable Blocks (Furnaces, Machines)
    • Blocks with Properties
    • Slabs
    • Stairs
    • Shaped Crafting Recipes
    • Shapeless Crafting Recipes

    I'm planning to add:

    • Oredict Crafting Recipes
    • Fences
    • Pillars

    Usage:

First, when you download the file, place it somewhere in a folder and run it once. DO NOT RENAME THE JAR. A bunch of files and folders will be generated.

Open the "modid.txt" file and write your mod's modid on the first line, save and close.

Next, in the params folder, you find all the txts that you need to edit in order to generate files. In the base folder you will find an Example.txt, which will look like this:

    Normal Block:
    test_block
This creates a blockstate file called 'test_block.json', a block model file called 'test_block.json' and an item model file called 'test_block.json'
The block will try to use a texture called 'test_block', which is located in /textures/blocks

    Handheld Item:
    test_sword
This creates an item model file called 'test_sword.json'. The item model will look like a sword when held
The item will try to use a texture called 'test_sword', which is located in /textures/items

    Normal Item:
    test_apple
This creates an item model file called 'test_apple.json'
The item will try to use a texture called 'test_apple', which is located in /textures/items

    Orientable Block:
    test_furnace
This creates a blockstate file called 'test_furnace.json', a block model file called 'test_furnace.json' and an item model file called 'test_furnace.json' The block will behave like an orientable block (like a furnace)
The block will try to use textures called 'test_furnace_top', 'test_furnace_front' and 'test_furnace_side', all of them are located in /textures/blocks

    Slab Block:
    test
This creates two blockstate files, one named 'test_slab.json', the other named 'test_slab_double'. Note how the _slab suffix is added automatically
It also creates two block model files, one called 'test_slab.json' and one called 'test_slab_double.json'. It creates one item model file called 'test_slab.json'
The block will try to use a texture called 'test', which is located in /textures/blocks

    Stair Block:
    test
This creates a blockstate file called 'test_stair.json'. Note how the _stair suffix is added automatically
It also creates three block model files, one called 'test_stair.json', one called 'test_stair_inner.json' and one called 'test_stair_outer.json'. It creates one item model file called 'test_stair.json'
The block will try to use a texture called 'test', which is located in /textures/blocks

Variant Block / Block with Properties:
    test_clay;blue,red,green:color
This creates a blockstate file called 'test_clay.json'. It creates block model files for each variant, in this case 'blue.json', 'red.json' and 'green.json'. It also creates Item model files for all variants with the same names.
The block will try to use textures called 'blue', 'red' and 'green', all of them are located in /textures/blocks

    Shaped Recipes:
    3*minecraft:stone;3,(###,#P#,###),#,minecraft:dirt;2,P,minecraft:dirt:3,?group
This creates a recipe file called 'stone.json'
The first argument is the recipe output. Using NUMBER*, you can specify how many items are created. The ;3 after the minecraft:stone refers to the damage value of the output
The second argument in brackets is the recipe. The lines are separated with commas (first is top line in crafting, second is middle line and third is last line). You can also not write lines (for 4x4 crafting). (##,##). You can use any characters as identifiers apart from *,;:?
The next arguments specify what the characters in the second argument stand for. The format for items is the same (modid:name;meta). You cannot specify a count.
The last argument is indicated by the '?'. It is the group name, if you want to group your recipes. If you don't write a ?, it will not assign the recipe to a group.

    Shapeless Recipes:
    3*minecraft:stone;3,minecraft:dirt;2,minecraft:dirt:3,?group
This creates a recipe file called 'stone.json'
The first argument is the recipe output. Using NUMBER*, you can specify how many items are created. The ;3 after the minecraft:stone refers to the damage value of the output
The next arguments specify the ingredients used in this recipe. The format for items is the same (modid:name;meta). You cannot specify a count.
The last argument is indicated by the '?'. It is the group name, if you want to group your recipes. If you don't write a ?, it will not assign the recipe to a group.

The main purpose of this is, that you can have as many blocks generated at once as you want. Just make a new line in the respective file.

Do you mean how the item shows in your hand? So like a vanilla sword, not like an apple?

In That case, you need to make the model in the items modelfile to item/handheld.

    Example:

    {
        "parent": "item/handheld",
        "textures": {
            "layer0": "pathology:items/syringe"
        }

posted a message on Just Build It - Adds many unique building blocks

Just Build It, or JBI for short, adds many unique building Blocks to the game. The Blocks are designed in a way that they fit nicely with vanilla Minecraft. All Blocks can be made in Survival Mode. It also adds Stairs and Slabs for some existing Blocks.

    Blocks

    More Stones
JBI adds a bunch of new stones to the already existing Granite, Diorite and Andesite. It also re-textures said blocks because I found that they, especially Granite, looked pretty ugly. It also adds Cobblestone, Polished and Brick Variants for all the Stones.

    These new Stones are:
    Marble, Limestone, Basalt, Sandstone (smooth),
Red Sandstone (smooth), Acherite and Terminochite.
There is also a Polished Variant for Stone and End Stone,
and a Polished Variant and Brick Variant for Netherrack.

You craft the Polished Variants like in vanilla, using 4 of the base Block:

Note that the Base Block for the Sandstone Blocks is crafted like this:

The Brick Blocks are crafted like this, using 4 of the Polished Variant of the Block:

All of the new Stones, except for Acherite and Terminochite, spawn in the Overworld like the other Stones. Basalt spawns deep down in the World, Marble in the higher parts of the world and Limestone somewhere in between. Acherite spawns in the Nether, similarly to Magma. Acherite spawns in a different
form than on the pictures, it spawns as "Blazing Acherite".
It is so hot, that if you step on it, you burn yourself. This can be avoided by sneaking. To transform Blazing Acherite into regular Acherite, you have to drop the Item into a block of Water.

Terminochite generates in the End, it is somewhat rare. When you break it, it has a chance of teleporting you around, which can be quite disorientating. It has a nice, deep purple color.

There are also Slabs and Stairs for all the new Stones, but only for the Cobblestone (if available) and the Brick Variants.
You can also get the Base Block by smelting the Cobblestone in a Furnace.
    Bricks

There are two new types of Brick added:
    Cotswold Bricks and Aged Bricks.
Vanilla Bricks have also been re-textures and renamed to Mixed Bricks to fit better into the game.
Also here, there are Stairs and Slabs for the Bricks.

    Concrete

The mod adds a couple of types of Concrete. Firstly, it adds Wet Concrete, the raw form of Concrete. When you smelt it in a furnace you get Hardened Concrete.

Also, a picture of blazing Acherite.
Hardened concrete has a pretty smooth Texture, similarly to Clay. This can be further used by dyeing it.
But Wait! Not only 16 Colors! More like 16 Million Colors!
    You craft it like this:

By default it is white. But you can dye it like Leather Armor in a Crafting Table!

You can also re-dye already dyed Blocks!

If you craft a colored Concrete together with a white concrete, you clone the color. The colored Block doesn't get used up.

Keep in mind though, that these are Tile Entities. That means that they lag more than normal Blocks. They don't lag as much as regular Entities, but if you have lots of them in your World they can cause some Problems. So keep that in mind!

Here are a couple of basic colors.

But what do you say? You want even more Possibilities? No worries! The mod adds the Concrete Tile. Have a picture to explain a bit better:

The tiles can also be dyed individually!
That means there are over 281 TRILLION different combinations! Now that sounds good! They are crafted like this, using already dyed Concrete.

You can combine them however you like!
    Overgrowth

Have you ever wanted to make a build look overgrown or ruined? Then this block is perfect, if used together with some leaves!

As you can see, it works similarly to vines, but that it attaches to all sides that are not air, meaning up, down, north, east, south and west! It is crafted like this:

When broken by hand, it doesn't drop. You need shears to harvest it. It also works with biome colors, so depending on what biome you're in, the block will have a different color!

    Gravel Path

When breaking Gravel, you can occasionally find Pebbles. The pebbles can then be placed on Grass blocks to make for a nice Path. When the Grass Block is broken it also drops some Pebbles.

    Config
JBI provides an extensive configuration file, which can be found in .minecraft/config/JustBuildIt.cfg. In there you can edit every aspect of Stone Generation in the world, some Crafting recipes, OreDictionary features and some other random stuff. It looks something like this:

    Credit
Not all of the Ideas were my own Ideas. While thinking of Ideas, I watched some popular videos to see, what the community wanted. Grian's Minecraft Ideas were great for this purpose.

As you can see, I also adapted some of the textures, just because they are really nice.

I also want to Credit Openblocks, as I based the Dyed Concrete Block on their Canvas Block.

And last but not least, I want to credit the wonderful people at minecraftforge.net, for helping me with my weird Problems

I looked on your GIT no sources, will you put up the sources for this .? looking to update to 1.11.2 . Do you think you can restore pre 1.8 boat functions , remove the boat sinking as part of this mod?.

I currently have a working version for 1.11.2, I just need to test it some more. And yes, I plan to release the sources sometime. I will not restore pre 1.8 boats, as it doesn't fit with the theme of the mod. The mod's aim is to make working in creative mode more fun and easy, not to bring old features back.

    - Fixed Name Color Bug

posted a message on Fakename - Change your Display name Ingame!

Fakename adds a simple way to change your Display name Ingame.

The name does display in Chat, Death Messages and over the Head of the Player.
It does not affect your skin.

The name is world/server specific, meaning that it doesn't change your name permanently.
Note that this mod is NOT client side only. If you're playing on a server, the server needs to have the mod installed as well.

To set your fake name, type

    /fakename set [player]

This will set the player's fake name to the provided fakename. If no player
is specified, the sender's fake name will be changed. You can also use color codes, preceded with a &

Example: "&6Notch" would display as "Notch"
    "&4Best&lPlayer" would display as "BestPlayer"

You can also use white spaces by typing /-

Example: "My/-Name/-Is/-Tschipp" would display as "My Name Is Tschipp"
You can of course also combine color codes and white spaces.

To clear a fake name, type

    /fakename clear [player]

This will remove the provided player's fake name. If no player is specified, the sender's fake name will be removed.
Aliases for the command are /fn and /fname.
You need to be OP on the Server / have Cheats enabled in your world if you want to execute the command.

To get the real name of a player, type

    /realname <fakename>

If the fake name has any color codes or white spaces, ignore them.
    Example: "&4Herobrine/-the/-Boss" would become "HerobrinetheBoss"
You can hit tab for auto completion.
This will return the the real name of the player with the provided fake name.
Aliases for the command are /rn and /rname
You do not need to be OP / have Cheats enabled to execute this command.

    Bedrockium Mod
    Overview
The Bedrockium mod was one of my first mods, so it's functionality is very basic.
It adds a new set of Armor and Tools made out of Bedrockium, a very strong ingot made from Bedrock. This mod also allows the player to break Bedrock in survival mode, though not without paying a high price. All of the Materials require a fair bit of Crafting but are absolutely worth it. Other than that, the mod adds a Dimension, many blast proof (and Witherproof!) Blocks and some new Mobs.

    Molten Bedrockium
    Overview
Molten Bedrockium is an add on for the Bedrockium mod, but currently only compatible with it's 1.7.10 version. It just adds a set of Armor and Tools that is even more overpowered that the set of Bedrockium.
