So, after poking around some scripts, i found that someone has found a way to store sounds within variables, after noting some stuff, I got to thinking. "Why can't I do the same with textures?"
Is this possible? If so, how would I go about making the textures usable?
I tried my hand at map making and found it to be quite fun (aside from the 45 minutes that it took to export this map, during which my computer was left unusable.)
This is the result, I would post in game images but I lag horridly beyond viewing distance 2
I don't know, I tried running the mod by itself under 1.7.10 and created a new creative world, it still is not working. I'll try running this under 1.8 and see if that works.
EDIT: Seems to work under 1.8, perhaps I used the wrong jar?
I've discovered that this mod doesn't work when I have other mods installed? I've started a new world separate to my main one and for some reason all that is generating is default stone, none of the new rock types are spawning.
Is this a bug, or was this behavior purposely coded in? all of my other mods seem to be working fine for me.
Hello, So yesterday I was playing Minecraft, and a application opened and caused my game to crash, which in turn corrupted my save and resulted in me developing a tool in bash to install minecraft and Oracle java (If you don't already have it.)
Currently I have a build done (Installer with custom launcher) that will download a .minecraft folder for Version 1.2_02B and add the game to your Unity Menu (If you have Ubuntu with Unity) However I do have some questions
Assuming I do a python build of the installer, how could I go about having the installer contact the minecraft servers to check if the person installing the game has a legitimate Minecraft account (For games using the SP launcher from the days of old)
I know I have to send the information to the minecraft servers and verify, but I just don't know what module I would use for this and how, I'm still new to Python. So if anyone knows and can guide me on this, that would be helpful
Hello guys, I program, and I am sure many of you fellow Minecrafters here do too. This is just a place to freely discuss programming and programming anguages
Right now I am currently learning Python, but I do a lot of programming in bash, with my current project being a text-based game.
If only we could make Mineoramas.. (I know, terrible pun, but it would be a way to put a seed as your panogramic main menu image)
You know, this has me wondering if there is a way to use command blocks to teleport the player between 4 locations allowing just enough time for the F2 key to be pressed inbetween, I believe this is possible?
In such a case It should be possible to make Mineoramas
EDIT: I'm going to test this with just hand-eye coordination
Ah The old days (I found an archive of old modloadeer stuffz so I can go back and play modded 1.2_02 :3)
No I believe that 100 years from now mojang will release version 340.0.2_0b, but seriously the game is getting a bit overcomplicated for the new users, so it's an if-if situation. I just wish they introduce a working version of the tutorial mode they had way-back-when so the newbies can learn the game
for a project I am working on I am using a mixture of classic redstone and project red, and it seems I am having issues with wires bugging out and resetting to act as if they're un powered, it seems only vanilla repeats can fix the issue for single wires, but I cant fix the issue with bundled wire as the transceiver seems to glitch out on bugged wire. I also try and replace it but the issue occurs again at the same spot. even if I shift the wire over several blocks.

If you use the ModPE API You need knowledge of Javascript.

does this rewrite the whole terrain generation? I've noticed there are more plateaus on my game that are showing off the new rock layers

Is that an avian from Starbound that I spot? I wish I had internet working on my main PC so I could play that again.

Is this a bug, or a I doing something wrong here?
