For 1 and 2 try removing and re-adding NEI. For 3 the local aura may be to blame, try going somewhere in the overworld where magic hasn't been practiced.
Tried removing NEI (and CodeChicken just to check) and readded them from a fresh Sky Den download. Still getting the error. Here is a copy of the error the game is printing out:

As for going to a place where I haven't performed magic... well that's everywhere as this was my first Apprentice Wand.
Edited to Update: So I reinstalled a new version of Sky Den in MultiMC and just coppied my save over. That seemed to fix the NEI issue. As for the Wand I noticed that it wasn't even registering as being in my inventory for completing the quest, so I ditched it and crafted a new one. Bingo. That one works fine. So yay! Onwards!
So I had a power outage several times due to bad weather recently and it crashed my game. Now I'm getting several errors and some things aren't working correctly. Is there any way to fix them?
1) I get a nei error everytime I log on or travel through a portal.
2) Nothing shows up in the nei menu and if I try to click in the search box I crash.
3) My Wand of the Apprentice is not filling up when I created it.
You can still do it in two ways. Build a "cover" for your shroom, plant, grow, then remove. OR (and this may or may not be easier). Get an item with Silk Touch and harvest some mycelium blocks and use them as your "dirt" where you want to plant your new shrooms.
Both ways are a pain... a BIG pain, but it is still doable.
"Made cats less eager to sit on things" Less jumping is good! "Made cats less patient" Does this mean that all 9 of my cats just appearing beside me for no reason was NOT a bug? And now they are going to do it EVEN MORE?
I've looked for some to borrow myself (with author permission, of course) but I haven't had any luck yet. SineCraft is pretty unique, both in the designs of the blocks and the color palette used. If you do find anything please let me know!
I've started to use a mix of Cubism and Sphax for animals and mobs. Cubism is close. Not perfect, but the little squares in their design "almost" matches. The coloring is a bit off. More dull and pale that your pack, but it'll do for now. Sphax is another good one. It doesn't quite match the style since he uses hexagonals instead of square/rectangles, but the color palette is good.
My first world creation in the 1.9 3 pre didn't have any glass towers as far as my virtual eye could see. Saying that my 2nd and third worlds did. So the odds are good.
I'm not referring to Strongholds AT Spawn, but at the coords 0,0 which can be out of eyesight of your Spawn.
Edit: I'm not sure why this was moved here since this isn't a discussion about this seed but about Strongholds being at 0,0 in 1.9 pre 3... Clearly, a 1.9 discussion. The picture is only here for reference.
So... there is always a Stronghold at 0,0. Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but I've tested lots of new worlds and always found glass towers at 0,0.
Here is my reasoning. At the beginning charcoal may be a bit easier to find, but if you are doing ANY digging you will get stacks and stacks of coal (or have the ability to) since coal after 1.8 IS EVERYWHERE. So after you get into the ground, coal becomes easier to get.
By easier I mean less time consuming. You have a pick to dig stone and other ore that you can just walk a few steps to the side and dig to get coal. To get charcoal you "should" be using an axe and have to leave your caves (or house) go to some trees to get logs, that you then HAVE to smelt to get charcoal.
So where charcoal may be a bit better at the beginning, coal is better in the long run.
Honestly? Right on the edge between a flat (plains, desert, or snow), tree (pine, regular, or swamp), and mountains. Hard to get a spot between all three, but I find it's the best spawn. If I had to pick one? Hrrrrrm, plains I guess, so long as there were SOME trees close by.
Using the Stable 32 for 64bit windows. Managed to copy my mushroom house into a new world, except the red mushroom blocks are all turned inside out. The brown ones are fine. Did I do something wrong? Can I fix this?

Your map is in Creative with the ability to turn it back turned off.
