So it seems as though Minecraft keeps crashing on me. I've reinstalled both MC (including deleting everything in the .minecraft folder and starting over) and Java, and when I crash, I receive this message:

I don't understand why you are all making such a big deal out of all this. Who cares if the guy made it all up? I found it rather entertaining that he spent all that time building, skinning, filming, and possibly modding. I got a bit of a kick out of the videos themselves, being a suspense/horror buff. I think the guy should make a "Blair witch" first person film of sorts dealing with his encounter with Herobrine (bit more of a buildup next time instead of diving right into the action, eh?)
Bottom line, I think there should be a sub forum for people who come up with these elaborate stories, for entertainment purposes. I don't think Notch should add him to the game, or at least not tell us if he does. It all adds to the fun.
So i'm running windows 7, latest i.e. and java, and I have an issue with minecraft.
As sort of a background, I have two or three main spots in my game that I work around (as most of us probably do) and I have a rail system between them, lately, when I travel from one spot to another via railway, my game crashes (black screen of doooom), then when I restart I'm left with x number of new dupe'd minecarts. Now, I've been able to travel this route many times without any issues. I think it may have to do with the "On A Rail" achievement. My thoughts on this are somewhat valid, considering i've traveled, according to my stats 5.2km and have not yet recieved the achievement. So, Is it possible that me traveling via minecart to different spots in my world causes my game to crash because of the achievement?
Slime balls should be used for bounce pads. And also, there should be Blue Slimes and Red Slimes. Their slime does different things.
For instance, green slime balls can be used for bounce pads, and can be activated by redstone(a replacement for the piston mod; does the same thing, but keeps the same Minecraft atmosphere).
Red slime balls can be used for Slime Gauntlets, a new weapon that lets you punch any block (except bedrock and Obsidian) and move it in the direction punched until it hits another block. Mobs count too .
Blue slime balls can be used for speed walkways, and are placed like stone slabs. The player walks/runs faster on these blocks, making it useful for making jumps, getting through your mines easily, etc.
Oh yeah, red slimes are slower and do more damage, and blue slimes are quick but do less damage.

Sounds like minecraft, zelda, and portal all rolled into one. I like the idea of making any new use out of slime balls, but the bit about the gloves and different colored slimes sounds a little...I dunno.
I think implementing spider webs into the game will be tricky. It is a neat idea, but how will they function? Having a spider lay down a web in the middle of a field isn't all that practical "oh, theres a spiderweb there, I'll just avoid that." when was the last time you could easily spot a spiderweb? Most of the time you just sort of stumble into one and freak out. I feel the same should be true for minecraft.
Perhaps coding the spiders to be able to dig two blocks down into dirt, then planting a web at the bottom, sort of like a pit would be interesting. I don't think webs should be able to be placed on every block, just ones that would make common sense. Maybe remove spider mob spawners altogether and make webs the primary spawner for spiders? Also, the webs should have some sort of craft table value...perhaps when you break a web there is a chance to drop string, which in turn could be used to craft wool or some other fabric?
