    I've left it running in 1 area now for 5+ minutes, I'm still getting 5-10 fps. This happens both on old maps and new maps too. If I press ESC and go to the menu, then my FPS is ~30-40 (normally I get 100+). I only have FiniteLiquid v4, Modloader, and PropertyReader installed. I noticed the chunk update stat is nearly equal to my FPS... is this normal? I didn't have this problem on 1.6.6 + v3 of FiniteLiquid. I'm on OS X if that makes a difference.

    EDIT: This resolved itself after I rebooted my Mac... :smile.gif:

    In the current version it is only found in chunks where X=Y, and even then only in chunks where it could normally spawn (sandy beaches).

    What do you think about a redstone counter block? It would count incoming pulses, and fire an output after 2-8 pulses are received... configurable via right-click like the current diodes? Self-reset if powered from a separate direction, otherwise one-shot? Very useful for driving automatic crafting tables, furnaces, combination locks, traps, etc.

    It's possible to build one up from discrete components but it's rather complex and bulky.

    I just took over admin of a server -- it's a basic .jar on an OS X box, no plugins or mods or tools. I'd like to set up some sort of anti-idle that disconnects people after some time of inactivity. Maybe I'm blind but after some search and reading through the FAQ, I didn't see anything about this. Help? Thanks!

    Actually, I've seen both air or smooth stone as inclusions in the bottom layer. Can run through all the block IDs like...

    I think. Shell is not my forte. It's overkill, since not all block IDs can spawn in that level... I have downtime window during daytime when no one's playing, so as long as it's not taking an hour+ to run then no biggie.

    Does your tool handle custom block id's > 255?

    Having an optional -b would be good... if a bit dangerous / useful, in an "the entire world is now lava!" sort of way.

    How about a '-bx=id1,id2,id3...' which will replace all blocks EXCEPT those specified? It would be great for making custom scenario maps such as Deserts.

    Many thanks for the tool. I think I will be poking through your code this weekend... do you take patches for new features? :smile.gif:

    Can I use this tool to remove all the bedrock except for a single (solid - plugging any existing holes) layer at the very bottom of the map? I use another editor to do this occasionally by hand on my SMP server, but we're starting a new map soon and I would like to automate it via cron job.

    Right now your best bet is to wait for smith to get the modified et.class file to work with IC.



    Nice... what did you do to get it to work ? I'm using the latest versions of everything, maybe that's it...
