Were you ever annoyed because the stained clay colors are all tinted an awkward brownish color? That white isn't white, damnit! This texture pack will fix that problem - all stained clays have been white-balanced back to colors that more closely resemble wool and glass. White, silver, gray, and black have also been grayscaled to make sure they're clean.
This is useful for pixel art and building - white and gray/black look very good together to create a Portal-like atmosphere. Experiment, and enjoy!
I can't even get the me Controller to hook up with IC2's glass fiber , copper and gold cables to get my Me system up. Plz fix this
Use Thermal Expansion instead. Most mods are deprecating IC2 in favor of TE (and most new mods use TE exclusively), and for good reason. While I think IC2 power is supposed to work, I really wouldn't be surprised if you don't see it in AE2.
Hey, I personally thought that the texture for Certus Quartz in this mod was a bit... ugly, so I made a new version based on the texture for nether quartz and with a couple effects.
Of course, you don't have to use it if you don't want to, and if you do, don't worry about credit or anything.
Yes, 72 blocks is a lot, I don't know why I have it so high. How about 18 for iron, 27 for gold, and 36 for diamond? They could also have a cooldown of 2 ticks, 4 ticks, and 8 ticks, so they couldn't be spammed. I'm fine without redstone and tiles.
I'd like to point out that the 12-block limit is there because it's also the piston-pushing limit. The code can only support it pushing 12 blocks.
I'm aware it's also the piston-pushing limit, but is it hard-coded (as in someone put a 12 somewhere) or is it some kind of engine limitation? I'd be surprised if it was the latter.
After the recent 1.8 snapshot that allows Slime Blocks to stick blocks moved by a piston together, I was excited, but the functionality was restricted by one thing: the 12-block limit. Now, I get that moving hundreds of blocks at a time can get laggy, but it seems that the Redstone in Motion mod and its frames can move large numbers of blocks at a time without massive amounts of lag. Granted, it isn't as rapid as many piston contraptions, but it shows that Minecraft at least has the capability. So here I bring: stronger pistons. Crafted with higher-end materials, it's usable in survival but probably won't wind up with massive floating bases. Let's get into it.
Iron Piston - Can push 24 blocks at a time.
Golden Piston - Can push 48 blocks at a time, and preserves redstone.
Diamond Piston - Can push 96 (or 72) blocks at a time, preserving redstone and tile entities.
All can be converted into sticky pistons. Tile entities and redstone would be nice, but that's not too important. I saved tile entities for the diamond piston because moving dispensers and clocks just seems too overpowered for just a few iron. This would allow for more sophisticated redstone contraptions, especially for mapmakers. Even just this as a mod would be nice, but unfortunately modded blocks can't be in adventure maps, so it won't be available for the majority of people. Thanks for taking your time to read this suggestion, and all criticism is appreciated!
Turns out, Hirvio thought I could code, so this mod won't be programmed. However, I have gotten some (almost all) of the graphics done, so there's that.
When you're asking people to do stuff (modding) for you, in general you want to put effort in your post. For example, using "u."
On topic:
It would be cool for a few minutes, but I don't think very many people would actually use it regularly. Branded/copyrighted mods like Batman, Spiderman, Mario, etc. mods feel way too silly and they feel like they don't belong in the game.
I have received word from Hirvio that he's interested in taking up this project by combining it with his mod. I have agreed, so let's see what kind of stuff we can accomplish!

Perhaps instead of simply loading a texture from a folder, perhaps you can use a URL to an image and have the banner use that?

Thank you!

This pack will work on any version after 1.6.4, when stained clay blocks (and resource packs) were added.

Well, code can be modified. Mojang isn't necessarily bound by the existing code, though I imagine it's probably less likely to be implemented.

MFFS Forcefields, RedPower, Redstone in Motion, falling sand, and the More Pistons mod seem to do it just fine.
