posted a message on The Minecraft Ascension Modpack (TMAM): Version 1.0.1 for Minecraft 1.7.10
    • Permissions. Where are they? Just saying you have them doesn't cut it, from what I've heard.
    • Both downloads are corrupted; they terminate at least 10 MB before the DL is completed.

posted a message on Tinkers Construct
Not exactly that big of a bug, but on the "Slime Islands" in the sky a Blue Slime will randomly spawn from the Liquid Slime lake (or any Liquid Slime, for that matter). I'm sure that is on purpose, but they still spawn even on Peaceful difficulty (and immediately despawn afterwards, much like Mob Spawners used to do).

I have a few other mods normally, so I tried isolating it and still got this result. Given the nature of the mod, this looks like an honest overlooking of sorts. Nothing major, but it can get annoying when mining all the Congealed Slime near the lake.

posted a message on Metallurgy - Putting the "Mine" back in "Minecraft"!
Not sure whether to post this here or elsewhere, but Metallurgy's Copper, Bronze, and Steel Ingots don't seem to be recognized by TConstruct's Part Builder at all, even though it does such ingots from some other mods (like IC2, RailCraft, or TrainCraft). Not really sure what's causing the problem here. Haven't tested the smeltery yet.

Something I've noticed that's not really meaningful now, but will be once one can actually pick Adventure mode in the Game Mode of a new world and NEI updates to that respective version (which could be a very long time from now, but still):

When playing a map on Adventure mode (/gamemode 2), you're not supposed to be able to break most blocks like wood or dirt without the right tool for the job. However, if NEI is installed you can always break blocks like in Survival (as long as you're not on Creative and that is off, of course. Removing NEI (but not CCCore) causes the mode to work as it does normally again. I think the mode-overriding function of the Creative button is defaulting to gamemode 0 (Survival) when it's off, which would explain why this is happening.

It's not that big of a deal now as I can mostly obey Adventure mode rules manually, but once it gets accessible from the get-go you'll probably get more than a few people posting about it.

Achievement reset happens when you get ANY achievement from ANY mod.

None of IC2's entry-level Achievements (Better Than Iron, Sticky Situation, and New Ore Miner) are making achievements reset on a close and reopen, but none of them are receivable right off the bat like the ones in question in TC3. Perhaps that's the problem causing resets, and if it is it should be a fairly quick fix. Just make WotA require Benchmarking and FYEO need WotA (as you need it to make a Thaumonomicon) and it might be taken care of.

As far as the achievement resetting goes, I've done some looking in to it and apparently getting one of Thaumcraft 3's Achievements (be it "Wand of the Apprentice" or "For Your Eyes Only") causes all achievements to reset upon closing and reopening Minecraft. It gets pretty annoying to see "Press 'E' to open your inventory." almost every time I play because of some bug, especially since I also have IC2 and use its achievements (which lack this problem) as a bit of a guide on progress. Yet to do any research, so I can't say anything about that just yet.

Second, I kinda think that if the Arcane Workbench works as the straight Workbench as well then it should require a Crafting Table as well as a TC3 Table (Former on top of the latter, perhaps).

Also thirding the concept of not being able to see Aspects right away.

One more thing: Wisps don't spawn at all on Peaceful, and switching the difficulty to it causes any active Wisps to despawn like hostile mobs. Is this intentional?

Not exactly a bug report, but it kinda surprised me when I saw this:

The light level in red is the current lightfeet (4, the outside light level at night), and the number in parentheses next to it is lightnosunfeet. There isn't any sun, but FSOR the latter also ignores moonlight and reads 0 on the surface. It probably happens with lightnosun as well but I haven't checked.

The difference doesn't really come into play at all, but it does kinda look silly when you know nighttime isn't pitch-black on the surface.

posted a message on Metallurgy - Putting the "Mine" back in "Minecraft"!
I'm not sure why, but it seems I can't upgrade my Crushers beyond Stone despite having all 7 parts of Metallurgy installed. I thought it was NEI at first, but after removing that and trying again it seems that most of the recipes for those upgrades are missing:

    Stone to Copper attempt

    Copper to Bronze attempt

Bronze to Iron attempt (Works FSOR)

    Iron to Steel attempt

The Furnaces upgrade fine and I can still make Abstractors like before, so something seems amiss. Did you accidentally remove the recipes or something?

Also on a less-important note: Manganese has the same look as Iron be it Ore, Dust, or Bars/Ingots. This got rather annoying when I thought I had 5 Iron only to find out I had just 1 Iron and 4 Manganese.

You also have InfiBase, and likely other parts of InfiCraft, installed twice. If you're using ML (which is probably the case, given that the error is unlikely to occur in a straight jar editing) make sure you remove any outdated versions of InfiCraft's parts when updating it (note that some parts may still be up-to-date in a package update).

I seem to have no problem with high block IDs (I have plenty in the 4-digit area to avoid clashes and block generation seems to work fine here), but I am noticing a bit of a bug involving the "visible wear" on several vanilla tools (I've only tried it on Wooden and Stone Pickaxes, but there's probably more). When I've used a Wooden Pickaxe enough that it has 59 damage (1 use left normally) or 129 on a Stone one, the tool itself simply disappears for some reason. No sound of it breaking, no visually broken tool showing up for a bit, it just vanishes. I'm not exactly sure what's doing this and it's probably no more than an inconvenience to most, but when combining this and EE2 renders the latter's Talisman of Repair useless in the Inventory as it never gets to auto-repair the tool (which is activated just before it would break normally) even if one has enough Covalence(?) Dust to do it.

I do know that the bug doesn't apply to tools from InfiCraft, as they break like a normal tool would. However, this is probably because they lack this "visible wear" feature.

One of your Medium Chunks (Cassiterite I think) has its sprite a pixel too far to the left, resulting in the one before it (Sphalerite) containing the shaved-off pixels:

I saw it in the first official Prototype Crusher release and it's still here in the current one, so here's a pic of it in case you didn't see what's going on here.

^ I thought "temporarily" meant "for hours or days" on their end, not "for a few minutes." Sorry about the hassle.

Trying to DL your MoreXP Mod and I've been getting a message from MediaFire saying the owner's account has no resources available. Checked some another random mods of yours and I'm getting the same thing, meaning that your account is apparently out of bandwidth. They require a Pro/Business account to download right now, and I'm not exactly willing to fork over $10 for a single download. Do you have any mirrors elsewhere, like DropBox or something?

It's probably worth note that InfiCraft is currently incompatible with OptiFine, as both the latter and the required base edits in the former use acq.class. Trying to use them together will eventually result in an error like this that'll stay on the world until you remove either OptiFine or InfiCraft:

(Only the base edits and OptiFine were used outside of the listed mods, as I was trying to figure out where the problem was)

Oddly enough, this clash seems to only apply to hostile mobs (and possibly Endermen). This is easily noticed on non-Peaceful difficulties, and on Peaceful seems like it comes from out of nowhere (probably through a mob spawner or something).

The problem appears to only be present in Hybrids 1.0.9 (1.0.8 works fine, the mod itself runs fine without Hybrids as well).

I haven't altered any config files, though I've been using Magic Launcher to try to see if mod ordering was an issue (I have Hybrids right after Base Edits and Core here, as that's all Hybrids supposedly needs. Tried it at a lower slot like between Lighting and Orizon with no dice). I have a couple other mods on as well, but it never reaches them without crashing well beforehand (the ones I have are set after the InfiCraft set) and as I mentioned above it works fine without Hybrids or with Hybrids 1.0.8.
