posted a message on Is singleplayer getting "unpopular?"

I can't say I dislike singleplayer, but it can get boring after awhile without mods. I normally only play singleplayer, and I usually play from an hour to two hours each day. It's not bad since I have enough mods to keep me interested, but I still think multiplayer's pretty cool. I'd play multiplayer more often if I could actually set up my mods for my server for my friends, but whatever.

TL;DR: Single isn't bad. but it can get really boring after awhile if you only stick to vanilla.

And for that reason they belong to client side, not server files that might be the problem here.

I've tried to do netplay with only the base mod, however it still crashes :x.

It's been like this for a few months, I dunno what's wrong with it.

Is multimodels and the others required files for extra maids inside?

You wouldn't need the 4 skin files if you're only going to run the base mod with the original palettes. You'd only need modchu (and the like) if you're planning to get the skin pack(s).

Yes, this mod is possible in multiplayer. In my case, I removed the extra models and skins and the server launched fine. When I had the skins/models in the server mods folder, I also crashed. Try that first. This means the maids that spawn will only have one model.

On the client side, however, I have the models and skins installed so I can change the models/skins after contracting a maid on my multiplayer server.

I haven't used the mod heavily yet so I'm not aware of any crashing bugs. Hope that helps!

Dang, I had a slight thought slip into my mind that it was the skins but I wanted to make sure :v Thank you for clarifying!!

Later on today I'm gonna probably post some screenshots of the maids I have in my world because I wanna do something else other than wondering about problems.. lol

I don't know if this has been answered or not (since I haven't been here in ages), I'll ask anyway.

It's possible to use the mod (along with Modchu, all that good stuff with the skins) in multiplayer? I installed Forge into my server and put the mod inside the mods folder it made, but it appears the server crashes :^(. I would of gotten a log on what it said but I don't know where Forge/Modchu shoves the logs for the server, it also went too fast for me to copy/paste. I don't think it was any of my other mods because I swore they worked in multiplayer. (Mr. Crayfish's furniture mod, DecoCraft, and CustomSteve), but I might be wrong ;_;.

Oops, I didn't even notice that! I got a new laptop this month and I forgot to update it. I'll edit this post after I update it/test it with the skins.
e: It still crashes at startup for whatever reason. Not even sure why it's still doing it, even after updating Java/disabling other mods.
e2: after playing with it for a bit, I noticed it was still loading the old Java (even after telling it where it was), I fixed it and it now boots up properly! Thanks for helping me with this, I never even noticed I had an old, outdated Java version.

Nah, everything's been updated to 1.7.10. I don't think you could ever really "mix" mods.

Deleted them and redownloaded them, still the same thing. Everything else loads just fine according to the logs, too. It's only the main Mochu lib that's causing it to error.

    Still getting the crash at start.. I don't even make it to the Mojang logo. I really wanna say it's something with Modchu, but I redownloaded it multiple times already. ;;

I doubt CustomSteve has anything to do with the mod because it worked before, but I can disable it if I have to.

e: Also, since I forgot, Modchu itself. http://prntscr.com/6gjgek

oops, kinda having another problem with the mod again.

I got the sounds and the base to work, but when I boot the game up after downloading and putting the .zip files in the mods folder (the 4 files to use the additional skins) the game crashes. Here's the log if anyone wants to look at it.

In your minecraft directory there is a folder called "config" open it and you should find a file called something like "Littlemaid.txt". Open that file search a line that sais "enable maid egg=false" and change it to "enable maid egg=true"

Oops, I never thought it'd be in the config folder at all :0. Thanks!
