to keep yourself busy I would say no more then a 15 stack of food at any time. Multiple types is fine but not more then 15 each. prevents large harvests from once a week to quite often. maybe limit number of animals can have and each crop type. . Next up is no mob grinders or XP farms. Makes getting a good pick a real accomplishment. So coming across a blocked blaze spawner means getting rods you need and not camping to get around no XP farm. For difficulty no invisibility, night vision, or fire resist potions allowed. Get mo creatures mod. 200 hostile limit. I remove ogres and set 1 for wharewolfs. Fine tune it to your taste. I also disable bats and turn down rats to get other mobs instead. Keep visual at moody. play on hard hallways. The first village you come accross your duty is to protect it from sieges. No trading with villagers for emeralds. Can only use ones you mined.
I bought 2 copies of minecraft for me and my wife. I first tried minecraft through cracked server version. I can honestly say I would have never bought this game without pirating it first even though there's a demo version. for some reason I hate demos. Got tired of all the cheaters on cracked servers and wanted the full game so bought it. Some people can't afford even 30 dollars. Others are tired of buying crap items so they pirate. Others are just stingy. Overall I'm sure this game has pulled in more then its fair share. I personally feel were the ones getting shafted with the lack of development. It takes forever to get an update and when we do its not a whole lot. Like the money isn't being put back into the game like it could. So its not black and white right or wrong. Just do your part and let others be.
I shouldn't have to wear no armor or no enchants. That shows there's something seriously unbalanced with this game. Yeah let me go hunt down specific mobs because half or them are filler. I shouldn't have to play half the games items or enemies for a challenge. That leaves me with a poor experience game. Like playing pre beta or something. These guys need to get off their butts and actually put in some effort.
