    Attempt 2:

    List of changes:
Clarified why he is named Tornado. (His real named was erased.)
Explained what it is he's wearing in more detail. (Not actual power armor, nor does it give any bonus that regular power armor might.Think broken. Also included a paragraph at the bottom why he doesn't know how to use regular power armor)

Why us?: I've liked the feel of Fallout games and servers. The towns and ruins have history to them which is something vanilla Minecraft doesn't have.
Define Role-Playing in your words: Basically what we did as kids. Take a name, inject personality and history, throw in some immersion, and be that character as he walks through Utah.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Using OOC info while IC. Knowing information your character shouldn't and using it. IE: Knowing who a person is before being introduced.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Being able to do things beyond the abilities of a normal person. Generally making pvp unfair. IE: turning rocks into gold, punching holes through steel with a finger.

    IC:

    Name: Project_Tornado
    Nickname: Tornado
    Age: 27
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Scarred metal plates painted a dark gray reminiscent of a scaled back T-45d power armor. The armor itself is composed of several segmented sections for increased range of motion at the expense of protection. The symbol of a tornado decorated on the right shoulder with a serial number 3721 etched into the metal underneath it. A tattered cloth pauldron covering the shoulders and left arm. All attempts to remove the armor itself have proven unsuccessful. It's literally bolted to his body.
Personality: Despite being meant for war he's not actually the fighting type. Combat is plan B. Reserved but courteous. He’s man who respects loyalty and close friends. Definitely humorous if a bit crazy, CODE tends to do that.
In-game RP example: "Never seen you in these parts," the barmaid commented politely with a tinge of caution. "What can I get for you?"
"A Nuka if you have any," the stranger replied as he sat, elbows on the counter. "Just wandered in actually." He slid a few caps toward the woman.
"New, huh. Tell me about yourself." She returned to polishing an old makeshift mug made from a soup can. The soda was just below room temperature at best. Worth every cent.
"Not much to say really. I'm a wastelander with a dark past of cannibalism and savagery."
The barmaid "I know the type. There's twenty more just like you in this bar alone."

Background: My story began in 2071 and ended the same day. I was the remnant of a failed experiment to blend Robobrain and Power Armor Technology. The project was dubbed Tornado. In the name of science and America I was to be the next step in heavy infantry. “One small step for man, one giant leap for America!” The scientists and engineers all cheered on the day I was to be created. Unfortunately, I could not join in the celebration; the tube in my throat and the restraints binding me to the gurney would not allow it. It made joyous exclamations impossible, and quite painful. It did however permit grunts of pain and unintelligible curses to which were directed at the intellectuals around me. I suppose I should thank them for at least giving me a sedative for the ordeal that was to come.

From that day on I was no longer given the privilege to call myself human. I was a thing, a piece of metal and carbon with no right to conscious thought or personal desire. Sure, being a technological marvel sounds great until you’ve realized your identity as a named person is erased. As was common practice with all Robobrain subjects I was subjected to CODE reprogramming to strip away any human flaws. No more memory. No more name. It was all cut away. My ability to recall anything from before this time is impossible; probably for the best.

In my new life as a lab rat I was given the luxury to navigate metaphorical mazes and exercise in my own personal hamster wheel. I fought against my human observers and their endless tests. “Resisting us is pointless,” they told me as my prosthetic legs would resume marching. Four months of rebellion and countless attempts at CODE reprogramming I was deemed a failure by those sponsoring my captors. At last! I was moments away from reentering the outside world again.

No such luck. Like any broken machine that couldn't be fixed, yet was too expensive throw away, I was metaphorically freeze dried and sealed in a warehouse where grand dreams were left to die in the shadows. I don’t know what brought me back. For whatever reason my coffin decided my time in cryo had been long enough. That or the reactor had failed. Judging from the amount disrepair inside the container and from the sorry state of my armor it was the latter. I hadn't realized what had transpired during my slumber until I after I got out. So two centuries later, finally free, I could resume my life as a former human encased inside of a broken, failed experiment. Over the course of my life as a rat I had grown fond of my designation. I was almost proud of it. It was sort of ironic too. The stupid intellectuals thought they could control a tornado. Well too bad. Natural disasters can't be harnessed.

It was a shame though. All the effort that went into grafting a slimmed down version of the T-45d power armor to my skin was pointless 200 years later. Because I was a prototype there was no such thing as spare parts. I was unique. Any parts would need to be manufactured, not salvaged. Even if my suit was based off the T-45d, I was wearing a Ducati compared to an Impala. A car engine won't fit inside of a motorcycle. On top of that, knowing how to ride my 'bike' didn't mean I could get behind the wheel of a muscle car and drive. To be blunt, just like any regular person I'd have to be taught how to use the T-45d or T-51b first before slipping it on.

    Role-Play Name: Tiidan Redseeker
Characters Bio (must be 2-3 paragraphs): Tiidan was born into a modest clan known for their master engineers and smiths. After his apprenticeship ended at the age of 27 he's been traveling to various dwarven holds to ply his trade. His family passed on their values to keep a humble head and to let his actions speak for him. He's not an outgoing person, preferring to remain quiet among strangers, and keeping his friends close. Unlike some of his race, he doesn't have a stick up his pants. He favors a more courteous approach to people he meets. Only venturing to a hostile demeanor if need arises.
He was never the type to rush into a fight, preferring to avoid conflict if possible. If all else fails, lop some heads and let the warmongers sort out which body part goes where. When his patience has run out all niceties cease.

Why did you pick us?: I'm seeking a friendly RP server for adventure and creativity.
What are you're characters ambitions?: His love and joy is the same as all other dwarves, mine, craft, and build.
Race (Human, Elf, Dwarf, Orc)?: Dwarf
Do you agree to not ask for any Admin/OP privildeges?: Completely

Last time I had heard, the factions we're not supposed to fight each other for now but it seems that went out the window.

Is that why Zero and someone else made a raid on BoS Sunday afternoon? I'm still waiting to have the stuff he and whatever other admin was with him looted from a faction protected chest.

lies enclave has d armor too

Lies, Enclave has AI presidents which add a +5 bonus to gullibility and +10 to social elitism. With those perks what's the point of wearing power armor. Your ego is your armor.

I need to take a quick break for one or two days. I've had Commando ban me until then so I can focus on college and physics. I promise when I get back I'll give the BoS 120%. Until then Commandopip can take command if he wishes. Now it's time for the books.

I'll ask Tim next time what his MCforum name is so you can apply.

I might as well go to bed as well so night everyone.

My McForum name isn't the same as my IGN. Somehow Curse doesn't have a recovery email address for it so I have to use this one. Send them to this account from now on.

My thoughts on the change. Yupyup is right. There's more than one reason why there are only 5 people on the server. To start Skyrim came out, Minecraft updated, and it's the final month before finals. It was the same thing during the 1.8 update too. People forget to not update and are then locked out.

There's one more thing too. Based off the move from Utah to Seattle it means losing all stats on McMMO as well as all items gained. Everyone knows the feeling when a creeper blows their corpse halfway to hell. It's the reason why "That's a very nice everything you have there..." has such a significant meaning to us all. Losing one hour of work is frustrating enough. Losing 5 hours, 10 hours, or god forbid 20 hours is even worse.

Having the ability to create what we want freely would be great. But not having the means to create sucks. So if we started off from a completely new map with nothing to build with the whole point of the map would go from being creative to survival again.

Good news, the Brotherhood of Steel has been added again. Due to the loss of Elder Diego and the disbanding of the Utah chapter the remaining members created the Outcasts.

There's a glitch with the gun plugin. Whenever the clip is expended and your inventory is full the emptied clip disappears instead of being dropped. Meaning you lose that clip for good. I've lost 2 clips so far from this and it's making me mad considering how expensive they are.
