Should I just PM Kensharma my application? Would that be better than posting it here? ( I posted at the bottom of page 5 ) Because I would like to help this project along.
Also, would someone be able to give me an idea of what the building team is working on so I can at least suggest some ideas and brainstorm a little.
Okay, I'm in. I would like to apply to be a Architects/Creative Builder.

Hours played: At least a few hundred. I have spent a lot of time exploring the world of minecraft. I purchased it since Alpha and haven't looked back. I haven't spent to much time in multiplayer, however I did work on a server called Protogenoi However it lost interest and was replaced by another server...
I have a lot of experience in creating stuff. I have designed quite a few creations ranging from to Piston/Redstone that abused the item duplication glitch. (Until Notch fixed it of course. :/)
I hope this gives an accurate example of my abilities. I am willing to help build and give ideas when I have some time. I will try give as much time as I can to this project. If your interested in my support I'll be glad to help.
This looks to be one of the better servers. I would love to jump on board and help but I would like to ask a few questions to make sure this server is for me. Please forgive me if this has been asked already.
My biggest concern with these types of servers is the combat. Servers tend to limit the freedom of combat by certain rules. For example, no griefing the cities (By griefing I mean enemies coming in and destroying the opposing faction's buildings/walls). Fighting in only in this little area. Only use these weapons. Etc. Will there be these kind of limitations? Or will the kingdoms ,or I suppose empires, be able to fight other factiond as they see best? Can I use TNT cannons for example? Or can I burn the enemy city to the ground? These are major questions for me. From my point of view these concerns can limit the server ,and if not changed, would make it just another pvp server.
I worked on a similar project a while back, I would love to jump on assuming I have the right idea of how it is leading and does not have the same concerns as said above. If so I will come along side and help as best I can.
This looks interesting. One question about town vs town combat. If there is anti griefing measures in place, won't this hinder the act of attacking and destroying enemy towns? For example, lets say I attack town A, however blocks are protected so I can only killed members of town and the town still stands. I would like to burn the town to the ground, but I am hindered.
First Name:Bailey Minecraft Name:Torch105 Age:16 Did you read the rules?I did. And something about gabe is the best? Did you vote for the server on minestatus.net? Yes I did. Why you want to join the server: It looks kind of cool. I kind of want a laid back minecraft experience. I'm also an AC fan so it just adds to it.
One question, do I have to sign on an X amount of times and is it okay if I walk around a bit, get the feel for the server before I settle in?
Creates and Collects blocks of any kind except for TNT, Obsidian, and bedrock. In this design I did use the Piston Duplication Glitch(link below). Basically, the piston Glitch creates the block you want, then gets destroyed by TNT(which is also created), and then falls into the water underneath which then flows into a nice little collection area. This roughly creates 720 blocks an hour or 5760 diamonds a min(720 diamond blocks). This all was created by myself except for the Piston Duplication Glitch. Thank-you and enjoy. :biggrin.gif:
I beat it. Fairly straight forward, assuming I'm allowed to destroy blocks.. All you need is a pick of any kind. First broke the iron door(the first one you see as you spawn) Destroy all the pressure plates. Destroy the tnt at the end of the hallway allowing me to drop down into the room with all the redstone. 3 blocks forward or so, I destroy a cobble stone block allowing me to jump up(it also fires one arrow). I then proceed to walk along all the cobble stone to the sandstone wall, I destroy two sandstone blocks and I'm in.
On a side note, it is just as easy to escape the vault with whatever would be stored in the vault.

Reason you should you be accepted: I know a good amount about combat; tactics, formations, etc. and how they apply to minecraft. I also am fairly good in building so I would be willing to help with some projects.
Additional info: Here is links to some videos I made about my minecraft creations.

One more thing, I would like to bring two of my friends but they don't use the forums. Could I just post an application for them with what they say? We communicate via mic.
I personally think they should expand on the the combat part of the MC. By adding more weapons than just swords and bows.(no reason to use other tools right?) Maybe add some of those arrows by that arrow suggestion thread, maybe add a battle axe(or change the code of the normal axe). It could be slightly stronger than a sword but can't hit the enemy as fast.
It would be nice to expand on the whole friendly mob idea. Add more of those mobs, maybe the ability to tam some hostile mobs.(Maybe spiders) And add some mountable mobs to increase speed.(Horse, maybe spider to do more damage on the attack, and a Pegasus type flying creature(of course rare to see, hard to tame) then a dragon( for the attack, rare to see, incredibly harder to tame. It could also be another hostile mob to)
Another good feature to add would be more underwater content. I'm tried of the small lakes. I would want more sea's and deep sea caves to explore.(Maybe buried treasure under water?) Then maybe add some kind of hostile sea mob? Sea monster, pirate, skeleton on boats?
To make zombies harder just have them travel in packs.
Once when I was deep in a cave I got attacked by a swarm of around 6 zombies. Not much you can do when they circle you and start beating you from every direction...
