The thing is, you can still do all of that with the crafting table. They're not taking anything away from you. They're giving you the option to use the new crafting blocks if you want to.

The observer block is kinda weird. Like, why do you need to put redstone at the rear to get a 1 strength output? It complicates a lot of stuff. Why can't the whole observer turn into a power source for that short 1 tick instead?

I will be making a completely new texture pack for 1.14. I'm redoing all the materials from scratch so it will take a bit though.

I will eventually do the new default textures when they are finished, which will be a completely new resource pack from the ground up so it will probably take a while.

Graphics card shouldn't be the issue, neither should forge. Have you tried different shaders? robobos, KUDA, or BSL for instance?

Both seem to work fine for me. Maybe it's your graphics card? You could try some other shaders too to see if it happens with all of them.

Actually, the wooden planks look wrong too. Everything lowered seems to have incorrect colors, also those stone bricks already have artifacts inside the block half, normally those should only occur on the block borders with incorrect POM size. Which shaders are you using?

Just FYI: I uploaded new files with some texture tweaks and proper PBR support.

I'm guessing by Optifine support you mean connected textures? I wanted to do that originally (at least for the bookshelves) but I never got around to it and it felt like too much work. And I'm not too sure about the glowing textures? Do you mean the dynamic lights that's emitted from some blocks / items?
I'm currently (and slowly) working on a proper PBR version (Specular/Metallness/Emission maps) of the pack so maybe you also meant that?

Yeah, seems to be fixed now

Tried using the old launcher which just crashes aswell..

So today when I started the game the launcher updated itself and now the game won't start any of the modded profiles (Forge, Optifine) and just instantly crashes when pressing play. I could run the game just fine yesterday and haven't changed anything. There's also no crash report generated since it crashes immediately after pressing play. Just briefly writes something "Extracing ... " in the status bar and it's gone.
Also tried reinstalling the launcher which did not help. Vanilla works fine but as soon as I try to start the Optifine or Forge profiles it crashes.
Anyone got a clue?

What version of SEUS are you using? Seems like the texture size option only affects the Overworld so I would consider this as a bug in SEUS. They most likely use seperate shaders for the overworld and nether and forgot to implement the texture size into the nether one is my guess.

Not happening for me. Did you set the texture resolution to 64?

KUDA works pretty well for me.

I'm talking about the settings for ore depth, patch size, spawn tries and so on that you can customize in the settings screen for a customized world in Vanilla minecraft, not neccessarily which ores can occur in which biomes. I haven't seen any settings regarding that and using the vanilla setting names as generator parameters doesn't seem to affect it.
