They're making fun of us? I don't see what's funny about this. It would be infuriating for them to take the genuine concerns of someone regarding a game they love with no more than pointing and laughter. This is unacceptable, and I don't know why Mojang thinks that the new horse model would be anything more than that. I suppose the only reality is that any version past 1.11 is a twisted, elongated form of the April fools update. Perhaps sooner if one chooses to see it that way.

No! No, no, no! Stop changing things that aren't broken! The horse as it is looks perfect! It's bad enough that they're adding new blocks that look like a half-baked mod idea. Are they trying to kill the game?!

You're bloody kidding me. Of all the pointless, bureaucratic nonsense this site has pushed onto us, this is likely the most annoying.
My Twitch account is locked because I had it attached to an old(And deleted) email account, and Twitch doesn't allow users to create a new account with the same name. It sounds like a minor inconvenience, but I can't think of another name for my account that isn't already used or taken.
Edit:
O-kayyyy... now my old account is working perfectly fine. Why, I couldn't possibly guess. As pleasantly surprised as I am, this is still a little perturbing. I don't like the idea of having a big streaming company looming over what's supposed to be a public forum. It makes it seem more like the ever-watchful eye of Big Brother is observing.

They're not considering new textures for the zombie villagers again, are they? The recently changed ones are great. Don't make a mockery of the texturing like you did with the last batch.

Nope! Still alive and well. There may be fewer players than were back when it originally came out, but the players that are there now seem to be staying.

Error: Pointless negativity is pointless.
There are plenty of people playing on the server. I see no fault with someone making a little story out of the first time they picked a character.
You seem to be one who enjoys talking down about things you have no business speaking about. After all, you are the same person that threatened the dev of the LotR mod with copyright infringement.

That was great, your choice of words was well thought-out.
I remember playing on this server back before the massive update, and I remember playing a little after the update. This makes me want to reset my archer character and play through it again!

Yes, that is the true horror of games like this having such a large audience. If a change alienates an entire group, the group cutting out won't cause majour concern. This game's audience lacks proportion, and that will be how the game dies. Hopefully then, a few people that play 'retro' games can find and pick up the pieces, like surviving nuclear fallout. I won't quit the game due to such a small, stupid problem, but I will not advance versions until a suitable replacement for this mistake is available. There will be many by my side, regardless of how small they are in comparison to the masses.

Detailed or professional textures were never something that had a heavy emphasis in the game. They're trying too hard, I would presume to keep the game relevant when they're still dominating the trending tab of YouTube with poorly made clickbait videos for <15 year-old children. Maybe when this alleged flop of an update is released, there will be a texture pack that changes everything back to normal. I will not play the game with textures this bad, and there are clearly many that share my sentiment.

That's the problem. You won't have a choice when it comes around. Mojang doesn't listen to the community anymore.

Not all change. I liked Llamas, Parrots, even the eyesore that is the woodland mansion. This does not fit in the game unless it is a separate texture pack.

Leave. Default. Alone.
Are you kidding? No. Stop, Mojang. The default textures fit in just fine. As 'fancy' as these would look as a separate resource pack, eventually replacing them and making it mandatory for all versions of the game is unacceptable. Rubbish like concrete and terracotta are optional to use in the game, but this is where the line must be drawn.

In brilliant 4K!
But in all seriousness, this didn't need to happen for any other reason than money. Telltale used to make good things, but this certainly isn't one of them.

At least they haven't touched Java with the 'community market' cash-grab rubbish. If they do, they can be prepared to lose a large portion of their playerbase.

Today is the first day in a long time I've visited the forum. I'm stunned that Azanor is departing, it's like I'm seeing an era coming to an end. I hope by ending the development of Thaumcraft he gets the opportunity to enjoy his life more. Thank you for all of the memories and the experiences, Azanor. We'll all miss you.

Well that's a relief. This is probably one of the largest high-quality mods out there.

I haven't been following this mod as closely as I used to. Has the creator quit the project, or has it just been put on hold?
0
Will there ever be the possibility of an update for this mod? It's a very clean mod for protecting your items upon death, and gravestone mods just don't do it as well.
0
I don't know if this is the correct place to ask, but I had heard that a team was working on a continuation of the mod called 'Esteemed Innovation' for later versions. I wanted to know if the project was still going on, and how much progress on it there has been.

M'sir, it would appear as though you have a bad gateway.

Mwa-ha-ha, you're too late! They've added treasure to the vanilla game, rendering your wonderful and carefully crafted mod obsolete!
In case someone mistakes this for me being a less-than agreeable person, I'm only being silly. Looking forward to seeing more of this mod.

Will Thaumcraft VI retain the crossbow turrets from early golemancy? I don't know if I could go on without my deployable sentry gun.

Pardon my silliness, but I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a 1.10 version for the Numina core mod. Does the latest 1.10 version of MPS run without it?

Okay, I figured it out. It wasn't all that difficult, I just haven't had the time as of late to perform a lot of troubleshooting. I simply had to do a clean wipe of all Minecraft-related files on my drive (Save for the backups of world folders that I made in anticipation) and then freshly reinstall it. I hope this doesn't happen frequently, but at least it's only a minor inconvenience that I lose nothing but time from.

Well I'd love to do that, but I have no clue how. Any information I can find that even pertains to this is people having their server auto deleted, to which the only solution is to delete server.dat. I don't know if that will work the same for me, but I don't want to take the chance without knowing precisely what it might do.

I could use a little assistance fixing something, as I've performed all potential means that I can think of to fix it on my own.
I've been trying to play 1.7.10 while offline, but the launcher is having a bit of a hiccup. It can't download 1.7.10.json while offline, which makes sense. I downloaded the file manually when I was online and placed it in the appropriate folder(AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/assets/indexes/), but when I go back offline and try to launch the game, it continues to request the file that I had just replaced. I've opened up the aforementioned file to see the problem, and I see it's deleted.
I've kept that file open to see what happens as I try to load the game, and I've found that the 1.7.10.json file gets deleted without my intervention. I keep on replacing it, and it's deleted every time I press the 'play offline' button.
I can't find any situations like mine online, so my possible solutions are very limited. If anyone has an idea, I would be very grateful to hear it.

This issue has already been resolved, search through previous pages and you will find the links you're looking for.

It's sort of annoying, right? 1.6.4 - 1.7.10 is probably the golden age of modding. I wish people were still supporting it, regardless of its age.

Woah. What on Earth did I miss after all of this time? Vampires and Automatons look amazing, and the Wendigo gives me shivers of anticipation.
