posted a message on Journal of a NEW Survival World
I remember posting a thread like this a while ago. (not sure if you remember me)
Either way, great to see I've inspired you in some way, although yours is definitely better and very impressive.
A shame of the file corruption, I've had it happened to my world as well.

I've been watching YouTube videos nearly everyday since 2006 so I guess the total amount would be between 20-30k, time well spent.

    You didn't include a GPU.

I changed the RAM to something cheaper and gave you a 7770.

That would make a whole computer, but since I already have a GPU and a case those won't be needed.
Thanks for the list, I might just buy your build.

If it's a laptop you need an entirely new computer. If it's a desktop you need a new power supply, a new motherboard, a new CPU and a new graphics card. If the case can fit those in your budget is easily enough to fit such and upgrade. So what's your case like? Does it have at least two expansion slots in the back and can it fit an mATX or ATX motherboard?

    It's a desktop.
It has 4 expansion slots but I'm not sure if it can fit those, how big are they?

I've been searching for a while now, looking at stats, prices and opinions of people and made this build list.
    What's your opinion on it?

posted a message on Need advice for customizing my computer
    Hello everyone,

I have been wanting to buy some new parts for my crappy computer lately. (desktop)
Reason being I'm not satisfied with my computer at the moment since everything except my memory is absolutely horrible.
It's not meant for gaming in the first place but I bought it for a very cheap price 2 years ago.

So basically I'm asking you guys for advice on which computer parts I should renew/change and perhaps recommend me some good ones on the market.
I want to be able to play games other than Minecraft although I only have like a 400 euro budget so keep the price a bit low.

Here are some pictures of my horrible specs: (I know, the need of a new processor is crucial.)

Any advice and tips is very much appreciated, thanks for taking your time.

It is very cool that you have it available for download but every update is not really necessary. Maybe just when you finish a big project or something like that. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I think I'll do like every 3 updates.
    That should do it.

WOW that is an amazing world you are really good at minecraft :)

Thanks, it's always nice to hear that.

Those mooshrooms must have taken a long time to get.

They sure did, in total like 3 hours.
I was stupid for not using the nether as faster transportation but unfortunately I didn't knew you could do that back then.
    Quote from PR0DIG33

Good progress but you forgot to update the checklist :D

    Thanks, updated it.

Awesome place man! Maybe as an idea, for the villagers, make a whole city and each villager has a job at the buildings there. Maybe? That may be too much work though. You could also go with thee western route with hardened clay and horses coming out.

Something like that is exactly what I'm going to do in the future, but that might take a while since I'm busy with many other projects.
    Quote from adventurechaser

Wow! Props to you for defeating the Ender Dragon! And you didn't even use snowballs... I take it that you now have the Dragon Egg, so why not build a shrine around it? in the over-world, of course. Good luck!

Thanks, I actually didn't knew you could use snowballs until you told me. (It kind of makes sense since every time I hit him with an arrow he chased me)
Oh well, the fight was fun either way.
I am going to build a shrine around it for sure, haven't decided where and how though.

What do you guys think of being able to download the world?
    Should I keep doing it?
I takes a while to upload my world every update so I really want to know if it's worth it.

In my best world, I have a chest half full of diamond stacks, enchant table, huge mine, HUGE farm, auto smelter, auto brewer, mob farm, full enchanting diamond armor and tools, defeated end dragon and wither, have a dragon egg shrine, and several double chest full of coal and redstone and lapis. Yeah that world probably has over 500 hours on it at least.

I won't be able to get so many diamonds until I get fortune III on a pick.
I've at least wasted 30 diamonds trying to get fortune III, fortune II being the best I got and like 6 silk touch pickaxes, which is weird because I've always thought silk touch is more rare than fortune.
    Quote from HubbaBubbaz

In the end you can make a 500% better farm. You'll get level 30 on 3 minutes. Me and my friends done it on MP.

    (btw,downloading your map right now :D )

Yes, I'm planning on making a farm in the end, but first I've got to finish some other projects and collect enough ender pearls for the end portal.

Haha thank you so much man :) I doubt it's the best, there's a lot out there like Docm77 and Etho's haha :P

I've been a subscriber of Etho for months now, I've seen most of his latest let's plays and I can tell his world is pretty impressive aswell, but overall not better than yours.
The town is simply amazing, tons of detail and variety.
However, I've never seen docm's world but I guess in the end it's a matter of opinion of which world is best. :P

I've downloaded your world and I is amazing!
I never realized how big and detailed the town actually was.
And also with the new underwater city, looks awesome!

I look forward for new updates because this is easily the best survival world I've seen. (I've seen a ton)

You should make this a white list server so others can be on and help allot with mobs and exploration but that's my idea

I don't see why I should do that, the thread is called: "my vanilla survival world".
    For me, this is Minecraft.
I like to play vanilla survival on my own.
If I want to play with other people, I join a server.
    Quote from richiespeed13

I joined here just to give you a big thumbs up on your world.

I've been playing Minecraft since its earliest days, (no idea how long ago that was), but have never actually joined the forums.

Like you I only play survival alone, I feel it the best way to play Minecraft.

I have only just come back to the PC version after maybe 2 years away, I have a lot to discover and learn...

I have been playing the xbox version since release day, but it's just too small to be much fun for me.

Anyway, loving this thread, keep it up buddy. Can't wait to see more progress!

    Thanks man, I appreciate it.
However, I might disappoint you with the amount of progress I'm making at the moment.
I have been busy lately, a new entry may be posted later on this day though.

May i suggest that after every day of playing, you put a download for the updated world so we can check it out?

I have thought about that before and people have requested me to do the same.
I might add a download link with the next entry, stay tuned.
    Quote from AnelReal

You should totally start Survival series on Youtube.. I would watch the "duck" out of it..

I'm not sure if I would enjoy that, I'm a person who likes to put allot of effort in his work purely for my own satisfaction.
That means I would put allot of effort in my videos, spending a ton of time editing and putting them together.
I like to sit on my chair, relax and play some Minecraft without having to talk and pretend like what I'm doing is interesting.
I also don't expect many people to watch my videos anyways since there are already a million let's players on youtube.

    So yeah, I won't do a "let's play".
I might do a world tour, but I'm not close to finished yet so that will probably take a while.

    endermen farm

I might do that, I haven't collected enough enderpearls to go to the end yet.
    Quote from KingWubWub

Hey you said in one of your posts that you afked at a skel-e spawner for 6 hours. I did something like this too except for 8 hours. I got on and my fps was 1. I pressed f3 and saw there were over 1000. How many did you get when you afked?

    I'm not sure, I didn't check.
My frames were really low as well so I immediately threw my splash potion.
    Quote from EpicPowers

Dude, This is impressive! You should defiantly make more redstone creations.

    Thanks, I will!
I have a mob sorter planned and some automatic farms.
